I tried this. The bypass works because the clutch stayed engaged but it still didn't take on Freon and as soon as I took the jump out, it started cycling again. Maybe I didn't wait long enough but I gave the freon a good three to five minutes and it didn't make any difference.
Hi Jim, if you do not have your charging machine, can you just pour the 2 oz. of oil into the accumulator before you connect the lines? Then vacuum and charge. Thanks Friend
As always, An awesome good video. A lot of information on what you are doing here. That's great. Thanks for sharing. I truly hope you are having a blessed weekend. I am the second person to hit the thumbs up button, lol.
Thanks for this video, Jim. My 2004 lost its charge and now thanks to you I know where to look first.
You don’t have to change the o rings on the other end of the hoses ?
Nice HD camera work. Just like being there...except for the bill...!
Great repairs
how important is the casing? seems like it holds moisture that ended up rust rotting the accumulator.
Good video jim
What the point in replacing the high pressure line? Is that a filter in the line?
Fun shop game: fling one of those clips across the shop and play hide and seek the rest of the day. Better done on slow days 😂
Hey Jim. Just watching from KY.
Will a cheap vacuum from harbor freight do the job ?
another good one , jim
