In my opinion, saving up and buying solid gold is the best way to go or just stick with Sterling sliver. Also keep an eye out for prices that seem too good to be true.
But when your vermeil fades you can just have it restored to a silver chain so i don’t understand why you would just stick to silver when you can have a gold piece til it fades and then you have the same piece in silver why is that bad?

most people don’t know that there’s an industry standard for a metal plating, it’s 0.03 µm. But with all this really cheap China jewelry being sold on Amazon and eBay, that stuff is dipped in actual paint. It’s not even plated. A real plating is actually very durable. You might get 0.01 µm if it’s a real plating from China they’re so many thousands of ways China and India will cut corners to make their jewelry just a little bit cheaper than the others. It’s so irritating. I’ve been doing jewelry for a long time and I will tell you that the cheapest price is almost always a scam.
@@Lord_Mecca i think it depends on your body chemistry if your body creates more oils then I feel like it will fade more as well if you shower in it and take it off before bed or also if quality went down then that too
