You put all these next to each other it becomes really apparent that the lead artist really likes that sunken-in, pug-like face on all the monster characters- I swear it’s like half of them.
Ghost Roaster's ectoplasm path is actually really good on nightmare mode since the amount of damage you have to take is incomparable to like, half or all of your health. The secondary attack still doesn't attack more than once on the wii but on other consoles is does and it acts as a good hit and run move since it's really fast, which makes it good for travel as well. His ghosts also do most of the heavy lifting.
Going down Fright Rider's secondary path actually makes him a great hit and run as the spin is very easy to use as a drive by giving a character defined by close range a good get off me tool that also allows him to have a fairly non-commital push-in tool, plus his charge damage is busted. He's pretty ass on Nightmare in Giants purely because it kinda kicks melee Skylanders in the dick but I think he's pretty fun on the other difficulties and in other games to a certain degree.
He is great for speedrunning levels in Giants if you go down the secondary path. The spin attack obliterate groups of small and medium sized enemies even in nightmare mode.
boulder turning into rocks can be used to avoid damage not to do damage so u can get lots of damage in and get away and the reason turning enemies to stone is to stop minions from annoying u while u deal with bigger problems plus if u could turn anyone to stone that would be too overpowered and would take away the fun of the game
I will say prism break should probably just be in S tier. If you go for the bottom path Crystaleer. You can drop two sets of three crystals. Then just shoot into any of them and spam the wow pow. The constant flow of good damage mixed with the wow pow just melts bigger targets. And smaller enemies get almost instantly destroyed. It basically like having a disco ball of deadly lasers.

It's kinda funny to me looking at this list since I'm realizing most of the Skylanders I had ranked among the good ones and also that I had all but one of the new cores in Giants. Weird realisations I guess.
I think making this list solely based off of their performance in Nightmare Mode holds a lot of the Skylanders back specifically the Giants and melee Skylanders. When you play Skylanders, you're playing Skylanders to have fun, and as you said in the beginning, Hard Mode is more fair and balanced, and you're not getting one-shot left right and center. Your tier list is valid for n=Nightmare Mode, but I feel there should be one for Hard Mode.
I agree that beast mode is kinda useless in nightmare mode, however even without it pop fizz is still a beast. He deals tons of damage and his purple potions can distract enemies so they won't attack him. Fright rider isn't the strongest however he is really fun and you should definitely take the secondary attack path it's stronger and way more fun

They are both awful lol. Giants already have a disadvantage in nightmare mode being so slow. With crusher not having any speed boost along with his secondary and tertiary attacks being way too inconsistent make him a terrible Skylander. Then the only use for thumpback is his primary from far away. His other attacks do next to no damage and his slow ass primary move is the only way to go.
rant incoming, apologies if i come off as rude: holy shit, this might be the worst tier list i have ever seen in my ENTIRE life. “fright rider sucks” he it literally one of the best skylanders in the entire game on bottom path. Wrecking ball gets an INSANE buff with s2, hex is literally the single best skylander in giants, shouldn’t be in A tier, crusher is not bad if you know how to use him right, thumpback is genuinely worse than sprocket, and sunburn should be high S. don’t even get me started on eye brawl. the upgrade that makes him follow the eye is singlehandedly the WORST upgrade on any skylander ever. it makes him so bad, he is almost worse than sprocket. jet vac should be lower, stump smash in S, hot head in high A-low S, prism break in S, chill in S, pop fizz way higher, and don’t get me started on the insane glazing of tree rex. he isn’t even that good. chop chop overrated, spyro overrated, camo very high A, ninjini a little higher due to her combo on top path having something called “Aggro”where an enemy will attack a summon and ignore you, which zook, stealth elf, slam bam, sonic boom, prism break, ninjini, stump smash, pop fizz, and many others have. Voodood is actually pretty good on tripwire path, and terrafin is ass. that is most of my complaints by a professional giants player who is part of the unm server. Oh yeah, and double trouble is NOT the best skylander
wrong path on Prism break imo his secondary where he summons 3 crysals from the sky saved my ass in nightmare mode in arcus city since the crystals take agro and do very good damage from distance
Didn't have the money to get into this game when the first one came out and tbh I don't think I'd be into it today, but I like digging into niche communities. Gonna watch some more vids even though I will most likely never play it. Awesome that you and these people can get together and talk about what you like
Glad Camo's at least in A Rank if I remember correctly when Specced and Played right. He can basically become Immortal since he's one of the Few if Only Skylanders with a Healing Skill much less a Decent Heal that you can kinda spam. Though it's hard to use consistent and effectively when enemies are surrounding you. As I think the Projectiles that Heal will Hit Enemies Instead. But with his Watermelon Field, Other Defenses and Ranged Attacks he's great for Annoying Content.
I would have put cynder in S or at least the top of A because the explosive ghosts thing was really bad in SSA but it's super busted in giants. One of the better ways to deal with bosses in this game
Series 2 Chop Chop, Zook and Drill Sergeant should be in S tier because they become literal GODS if you upgrade them correctly... let me show you how: Chop Chop series 2: shield path makes him invulnerable to and damage from the front while using the shield and his wow pow let's him use that shield while moving around at incredible speed while hitting with his shield makes enemies unable to attack you... also his shield absorbs damage and shoots it back at the enemies... people who use his swords just don't understand how broken s2 Chop chop really is Zook with the Cactus spawn path is so overpowered, he's the only one who even has a chance of surviving s2 Chop chop in pvp since the cactus knocks enemies back on contact and since even projectiles spawn the cactus when hitting the floor... completely broken Drill Sergeant is a completely broken homing spam god if you upgrade the Drill projectiles because you can literally spam them infinitely while they split in waves of small rockets that little target enemies by themselves and are able to get combined with the Canon on his back who's also able to just spam projectiles... no idea who balanced this skylander but Holy moly, the screen is just full of projectiles, making him basically the first cheater skylander before the eons elite
I think you got eyeball and crusher mixed up there because at least crusher can do damage in large groups ensure his freeze can't stun everyone but it still stuns enough people and his third attack is just outright amazing cuz every single time you hit an enemy with a rock it makes them knock back a bit which means you can roll into them and then reform and then start hitting them and meanwhile eyeball can't even attack straight and the only attack worth using on him is his first attack because his secondary attack leaves you far too open and the third attack literally does nothing other than give you a small amount of extra damage
Man I used to play Skylanders on Xbox 360 when I was like 11 and I frickin loved this game I played it through multiple times but I didn't have some elements so I was always sad that I couldn't fully explore. Then my 360 broke cus it was old as hell and I haven't played it since I was like 14 which is sad.
I feel like ghost roaster is really under rated. His damage is still not great and I only use the secondary attack as movement. BUT the tertiary attack is amazing especially when you go down it’s upgrade path. In nightmare mode being able to melee and then just become invincible is awesome, on top of that going into the ghost mode briefly stuns enemies.

@@staringcorgi6475 if you can manage to have multiple turrets she is not bad
But you NEED to find a moment where you can build them without being hit
Damn sucks to hear Fright Rider sucks because I adored him and his design so much
Yea I thought he looked cool too, but his gameplay needs some work, he might be better than I’m giving him credit for here since I only used one path with him.
@@Dymastiayeah, bottom path is WAAAAY better, and you are really only gonna be using the “360 degrees of spear” attack. it has really good dps, you gotta give him a try
I haven't played Giants in over half a decade, nor did I pay attention to their performance, so I'll take your word for it
I mained Prism Break by the way
Don’t take his word for it, fright rider and wrecking ball are op
I love using Wrecking Ball not just because he’s adorable, but the fact that I gave him a Golden top hat and it gave him a massive stat boost
Pop fizz IS THE GOAT
8:11 what did he sayyyyy😂
skylanders is such a nostalgic game for me, it is such a good idea and the games were fucking awesome
Voodood has devasting damage with his axe, why is he in bottom tier? His last combo attack deals 96 damage, insane
U do be spittin facts
This was literally childhood videogame
What's funny is one time in I think it was called the Kaos Colosseum in the main story quest is I only had like 15 hp left with double trouble and my sister has nearly full health around the beginning with a different skylander
..let's say I somehow managed to survive until the end while my sister d i e d
oh yeah, chap 9 Kaos’ Kastle is pretty hard
Bro really said Crusher and thumpback are bad 💀
thumpback is bad, but crusher is overhated
@JimmyAntavius I agree, crusher is overhated, but Thumpback isn't bad, he's pretty good and cool asf
@@rileydugan2443 thumpback is very cool and i love him, but as much as i wish he was good, he just isn’t. his attacks are slow, not great range, and leave him very vulnerable. he can do like nothing on nightmare mode. he is good in almost every other game tho
@RRGames09 you're wrong and don't know how to use them, you also shouldn't be looking at this in nightmare
Can't wait for the Swap Force one!
So happy you brought up the bottle rockets for ninjini!
People sleep on Ninjini so much
it's always funny to see a youtuber talking about having 300 subs and then scrolling down to see them with over 1k
YOU ARE G.O.A.T.E.D
rant incoming, apologies if i come off as rude:
holy shit, this might be the worst tier list i have ever seen in my ENTIRE life. Oh yeah, and double trouble is NOT the best skylander
wrong path on Prism break imo his secondary where he summons 3 crysals from the sky saved my ass in nightmare mode in arcus city since the crystals take agro and do very good damage from distance
i would add Hex, Prism break and Chop Chop to S tier
@@dark_aod5039melee characters don’t belong in s unless they can do insane DPS or have something else to make them good.
Fully disagree on terafin. He may be melee but he can go underground. Saved my ass a lot as a kid. Makes him real good at dodging boss moves
Didn't have the money to get into this game when the first one came out and tbh I don't think I'd be into it today, but I like digging into niche communities. Gonna watch some more vids even though I will most likely never play it. Awesome that you and these people can get together and talk about what you like
when i was a kid i remembered i mained hot dog and zap, so seeing where they were put on the tierlist just made me sad
I know he isn’t great but I have a huge soft spot for Dino Rang. Never was sure why, but he was just my go to
Gill grunt above trigger happy is crazy work
Gill grunt can take hits though while trigger happy can’t
Glad Camo's at least in A Rank if I remember correctly when Specced and Played right. He can basically become Immortal since he's one of the Few if Only Skylanders with a Healing Skill much less a Decent Heal that you can kinda spam. Though it's hard to use consistent and effectively when enemies are surrounding you. As I think the Projectiles that Heal will Hit Enemies Instead. But with his Watermelon Field, Other Defenses and Ranged Attacks he's great for Annoying Content.
I personally think that stealth elf is in fact the best one when you choose her main attack path that damage is just insane
Oof, I beat it with Fright Rider alone. One of my best in my opinion.
I would have put cynder in S or at least the top of A because the explosive ghosts thing was really bad in SSA but it's super busted in giants. One of the better ways to deal with bosses in this game
This is one of the most unbased Tierlists in ever
Love seeing skylanders videos that aren't 10+ years old
Series 2 Chop Chop, Zook and Drill Sergeant should be in S tier because they become literal GODS if you upgrade them correctly... let me show you how:
Chop Chop series 2: shield path makes him invulnerable to and damage from the front while using the shield and his wow pow let's him use that shield while moving around at incredible speed while hitting with his shield makes enemies unable to attack you... also his shield absorbs damage and shoots it back at the enemies... people who use his swords just don't understand how broken s2 Chop chop really is
Zook with the Cactus spawn path is so overpowered, he's the only one who even has a chance of surviving s2 Chop chop in pvp since the cactus knocks enemies back on contact and since even projectiles spawn the cactus when hitting the floor... completely broken
Drill Sergeant is a completely broken homing spam god if you upgrade the Drill projectiles because you can literally spam them infinitely while they split in waves of small rockets that little target enemies by themselves and are able to get combined with the Canon on his back who's also able to just spam projectiles... no idea who balanced this skylander but Holy moly, the screen is just full of projectiles, making him basically the first cheater skylander before the eons elite
the drill charge path is better for drill sergeant by quite a bit.
I think you got eyeball and crusher mixed up there because at least crusher can do damage in large groups ensure his freeze can't stun everyone but it still stuns enough people and his third attack is just outright amazing cuz every single time you hit an enemy with a rock it makes them knock back a bit which means you can roll into them and then reform and then start hitting them and meanwhile eyeball can't even attack straight and the only attack worth using on him is his first attack because his secondary attack leaves you far too open and the third attack literally does nothing other than give you a small amount of extra damage
eyebrawl deserves A tier
Man I used to play Skylanders on Xbox 360 when I was like 11 and I frickin loved this game I played it through multiple times but I didn't have some elements so I was always sad that I couldn't fully explore. Then my 360 broke cus it was old as hell and I haven't played it since I was like 14 which is sad.
Love the content man, I know the audience in nich but I hope you keep it up if you’re still enjoying the process!
Tertiary attack on Ghost roaster is very underrated. I didn’t really play him enough, he’s one of the only ones that I was ranking mostly from memory
Sunburn is S in Giants easily, my channel is just an evidence folder for that lmao
hell yeah i found bob in the wild 🔥
@@JimmyAntavius banger
Love this series hopefully we get the Swap Force tier list soon.
S tier for me is:
Ghost Roaster
Prism Break
Stump Smash
Sunburn (maybe)
Drill Sargent was broken for me and he was the ultimate spam
He's pretty good against the final boss in SSA, I really like his design but tech just has too good of competition
The thing with giants is enemies usually have shields or AOE attacks which makes ranged characters with good movement the best.
Stealth elf is good but that’s cause she does a lot of damage to enemies in total.
I feel like an idiot for making a tier list for the individual soul gems
