Win rates are going down in tanks with light armor and big guns because they rely on other people to stay alive longer than 30 seconds. With all of these fun modes that you instantly respawn, people have forgotten how to use armor and angles. The player base in general is becoming more careless, and that rolls onto regular and ratings battles
The game isn't fun anymore without big boss... So don't blame the funny modes, the people was trash with or without fun mode.
When you play these tanks, or any TD, you need a team that knows how to play to support you. Those teams are pretty rare these days and getting rarer, which then makes these tanks obsolete.
The fact that these tanks are losing is not surprising at all. WG has pulled in loooots of new players. This combined with x5s being spammed in the neverending modes= lotsvof inexperienced new players. They gravitate to dmg makers. Dump there load n die players. Most annoying team mate. Generally they overcommit and die after a clip… worst thing is when these players just push on you. YOLO you for 2/3. sigh
These days I play everything and I lose, players are so bad. You play cautiously and are the last one left only after 3 min and get rushed by the entire enemy team and get destroyed.
FV4005 was turned to shit by the nerf. Not only is it now bad peeking corners because of the slower reverse speed, it is also shit at long ranges due to the removal of reticle calibration. It used to be my go to tank for ratings, now it can't perform like it used to.
True.. U cant even hit all 4 shot on target.. U will be miss one shot or even worst..
It still can be annoying. It definitely was a nerf and you will hit less than before. But it can be deadly.
The IS-4 is pointless, just drive a Type 71 if you want a moving bunker, you can flex it on the speedy side or get gun depression, plus you get AP prammo that is even better than the 340mm of HEAT pen the IS-4 used to have.
This... I recently finished grinding it and as a semi-nub in tier 10 (mostly play tiers 7, 8, and now 9), I pulled out 3K in it without really trying that hard. It's actually pretty good without being OP... Like the IS-4 used to be. IDK what they be toking on in that back room in WeeGee HQ, but it's obv got some "oomph" to it.
For the life of me, I don't know why WG. Give TAnk Distroyer so little armor. It baffles me. If you look at some of the historical records, they have more armor then what WG is given them
@@davidmatthews5752 realism was never the goal... TDs have guns that tend to be better than the other classes... some have armor but are slow, others have mobility but no armor. A very few have a good mix of everything except no turret. It's about balance for the GAME... not historical accuracy.

Why does that "Win Rate %" number matter so much in a game? Shouldn't WG also include a "contribution %" so that we know who is carrying the entire team, regardless of survivability? In a 7vs7, my survivability is low but i help my team so much that MY team wins. Shouldn't that matter also?
kinda difficult to calculate that ngl. i recently got a near 6k game in the isu152 where i literally never moved and just farmed damage. did i help the team? not really because i did nothing but damage, i didn't even go for the low hp tanks. not surprisingly, we lost despite me "carrying"
How is win rate related to survivability? You have more win rate if helping your team consistently, regardless you died or not in the end. So basically the higher the avg dmg, the higher win rate.
Nice video Meadsy. The one tank that surprises me is the 50B. It's a strong tank and not one that I see a lot of less skilled players gravitate towards. The Grille, 183 and 4005 are all very good tanks, but rely so much on allies. And well, there are a lot of players playing Tier X that maybe shouldn't be just yet. The IS-4, I'm not surprised. It has been balanced to uselessness when you have tanks like the Type 71, 60TP, VK 72 and 90. All of those offer similar style play but with additional perks the IS-4 lacks. Quite honestly, I'm surprised that anyone plays it now a days.
WG really ruined the Is-4. They removed the armor, made the turret rotation way worse. You can't angle it like you could back then they just pen you.
Surprised a little with the IS-4 and the AMX but I get it, newer players are going to be getting deleted quickly. Example of hair pulling; it took 11 games in the Skorpion G to get one win this morning. Top 2 in damage in all except one.
It‘s so sad..The IS 4 was my „go to“ tank to pimp my WR on Tier 10, but now it is not competitive any more😕

I have 30% win rate with the Grille 💀
The grille is workable if you have a decent team and skill i have 200+ matches and 61% winrate with it
@@horzon17 maybe it's just bad luck on my side. I wouldn't say I'm the best of players, but I'm definitely above average. I have around 30% win rate with the Grille and the VK 168.01 P. All the other tanks I have are at 50% or above.
Tbh, any tank can be play to lose if WG still not fixing the damn MM issue.
I'm actually doing decent on the Grille, having 52% WR.

The IS4 was one of my favorite tanks when I got it 10 years ago in Blitz. So sad to see WG nerf it into being practically useless now.
As a 47% free player and have a Grille 15 though.. After the grind I stopped playing it.. I even have all the TD crew training.. Aiming the gun gets me killed..
No Premiums in that list...
The 50B has been my fave tank for all my years of playing, that is shocking what these new players are up to…
WG keeps nerfing these tanks and they don’t perform like they use to & they’ll turn around and buff terrible performing tanks that everyone starts raving about. It’s like one line is not being grinded so they buff it and another line has too many people grinding it so WG nerfs it….it’s all about business
I'm a decent player with over 25k battles and 56% wr and avg 1400 dmg, and the tanks I had the worst time lately are :
Obj 140 - weak ahh turret, almost never bounces anything and no gun dep at all.
KV-2 - I used to have a very good time playing it, but since it was slowly nerfed to the ground to sell more SMASHER, I almost never play it.
FV215b 183 And Grille - Yea...same.
Leopard 1 - At first when I got it I had some decent games, liked it and all, but now it became a shell magnet...everything hits it even on the move...I'll never forget when I got HE penetrated on the turret by the premium obj268 on the move with over 920 dmg done to me...I instantly stopped playing the game for a few weeks :D I mean, that was just pure BS in my eyes.
Oh, yea...and the Wickers...its just trash...very situational almost unplayably so

I am... not that surprised, we have here the most beaten tanks by WG, those that got the worst nerfs in 10.3.
The AMX 50B has potential, but is darn hard to use rn, the armor nerf now made it a truly glass cannon and, ,with 4 shots many players don't know how to use it and just yolo and die.
The FV4005 is a similar case, but worse, it has less HP, the reverse absolutely sux now and people don't know how to use the 4 shots magazine if not yoloing.
The alpha nerf in the Grille, yeah, we now see how bad that was.
And the sadest of all is by far the IS-4, it may have a better gun handling, but the lack of frontal armor killed the playstyle of the tank, now it is closer to an IS-8 or an Obj-260, but worse, it's just a shadow of its former serf. With 6 deg of gun dep, not the best mobility nor armor nor good traverse it sits in the middle of everything but is not great at anything and well, we can see how bad it performs now.
amx and is4's case are just bad players because both are great and ive achieved diamond with not many issues it capability to sidescrape and going hull down having one of the strongest turrets in the game with little to no weak spots and the random hull bounce and slightly angled up is a bounce with standard.
You struggle in battles with a td because teams not helping, a td is not supposed to be on front line. And no one watches the rear.
I feel bad for the IS-7

facts, esp when you use the autoloader consumable and you die quickly but you have to wait for the dispersion to shrink every time anyways, so dumb
they also nerfed the alpha on the gun of the WZ 113 (it also got armor nerf in previous update iirc) crazy considering how the medium, wz 121 has more dpm + it has tungsten

The big prob is that your gameplays are not from the last update. The IS4 is averaging 420 when now it is 400 and the fv has old ammo storage so games are from 2-3 months at least

Because of UA-camr keep on complaining about is4.needs to buff. Now it's is not good just like before. It is better before with good armor.

The AMX 50B has to be played like a medium nowadays as it’s turret can be very easily penned. Its inter clip reload is also bad.
kind of just a big and chunky tvp for a slightly better gun and more health so tvp is just better
