Loved this video. You explain how to use this twill pattern very well! I would definitely love to see more twill patterns. I managed to follow this pattern as you instructed, but if we have another twill pattern, do all the same rules apply : Like the floating warp at beginning and end, for example

I am having a really hard time weaving mountains. They always come out lopsided. Please more on those shapes. Also how to add grass on a woven grass pattern. Thanks so much. You are a very good teacher.
A wonderfully clear tutorial thankyou. Iv not attempted to follow a pattern before. Bjt this seems clear. I have always tried to make sure I start and finish the warp threads at the bottom, so that it is easy to finish the top of the weave and hang from warp threads. How would I finish a piece ready to hang with the warp thread finishing at the top? Xxx
Hi, I am really enjoying your videos. I am new to weaving, but really loving it. I was wondering about doing waffle weave on a frame loom. Do you have a video on this? How do I calculate how many ends I need if creating a waffle weave? Thanks.😀
Thank you for showing how. I shall send for a pattern and try this out when i become a bit more proficient at basic weaving. What is the best medium to use for warp strings please i am really new but learn quickly ?
Hi new subject here. Love this diamond pattern. Do you weave bracelets? Thank you for your tutorial. I learned a lot. I'd like to see more patterns. GOD Bless
wondering how you secure the string at the top of the pattern? If the row ends on the weft over the warp thread, do you tuck it into the row above it? Or leave it hanging and secure it to the back?
@@beccabentleyxx personally I would suggest warping like I did, and using a chunky yarn. With a double warp your pattern will come out much smaller, and you'd probably need to use thinner yarn.

Could you do a video on how to weave a diamond shape? I know it’s just 2 triangles but because my warp threads are spaced out quite a lot it looks like a blocky diamond. My triangles look fine though which is sort of weird. But if I follow the same pattern for the diamond as I did with the triangles then the diamond ends up being really small. And I can’t change how far apart the loom threads are either
I used this design to make a queen blanket on the frame I made. I use the same size yarn from top to bottom and left to right. I tried to attach a pic to show you but unable to do so

I already warped my loom and want to use the twill pattern. I’m going to try it and then create a border for the extra strings. Can I just do tabby on the extra floating strings?
What size of linen yarn did you use for the warp? I have been using 8/8 cotton for my frame loom weaving and my finished work is a little too floppy for my liking.
This is 4/12 linen from my shop, it's thinner than 8/8 but it is definitely stiffer than cotton: spruceandlinen.com/collections/warp-string/products/4-12-natural-linen-warp-string
Wow. Would your result not look more like your pattern if warp threads were the same size as your weft threads? Then again, maybe this would lead weavers to wish for a much tighter weave? Still, as I try this, I will plan a warp and weft of the same size. Thanks for the video. Peace.
