@@Andy-zm8bq yup like guy above me answered, the iron fist actor had 0 clue about anything martial arts related/not enough time to train, and it looked so fake/ cuts whole time and overall very poor end results, side characters fought even better, including his love interest in season 2 hahaha

I like Simu but with his physique shouldn't he at least be able to do at least 10 reps of 185? Granted I weighed substantially more than he does but I was able to bench 185 at 10 reps after just 4-5 months of working out.

for anybody out there who wants to be like their favorite UA-camr don't... their form is all bad you need to pause and control the primary down part of the exercise to fully work your muscle ... weird isometric weight holds do nothing but limit your number of future reps with no muscle benefits just hit five by fives 5 reps relax that arm repeat other side and repeat to failure. touch your chest don't slam your chest tap it hold and slowly go back up. you're better isolating 2 movements in a super set like front raise to failure and side raise then hit a rest period then if you don't have time then do another set of bent over fly's and shoulder pres. curling the weight into a shoulder press dose nothing and half's if not deletes any growth and increases injury on top of that all always do pushups and core post workout depending on you're muscle groups to complete muscle failure.
looks like simu trains for hypertrophy and not for strength

@Phil Conway Of course I know there are different widths but did you look at his wrist alignment with his elbows at 2 plates? His wrist is and elbows aren't stacked unless it's just the angle we're looking at but for me, it kinda looks like they are way out of alignment.
