Hi Nick love watching your blogs we are coming to Ibiza in may to hotel Bergantin on the bay we been coming to Ibiza for the last 30 years with my daughters and friends we have met some lovely people you live in Ibiza . now me and my husband are bringing my grandchildren 2 boys ( 7 and 4) if you could show us around the hotel and if the bar with the golf is still open at the side it was 2 years we was last there and we are getting very excited about coming back thank you Jackie Steve Hugo and Rory x
Hello, thanks for watching :) for sure the golf will all be open and they have had a little upgrade over the last years. At the moment the hotel is closed but will open in May. Try a restaurant called Es Virot just a few mins walk from the hotel - it’s great!
La Kiki days are just around the corner :) It is actually open now but as a restaurant. While Blau park is being renovated they have moved the restaurant there

@@NickIbizahire yes we have been in Ibiza every year even through the pandemic we r always based in es canar but for the last two years we have had to change two years ago it was the bargantin in San Antonio bay wich was great and last year was port de San Miguel at the esmarelda mar as that's our winter break in October thanks for responding as I said it's my daughter that always asks has nick dun a new blog yet 😀 she can't get enuf of them and has asked if we can try and blog this year in June when we r out on the beat island on the world

Great video Nick. Gives a feeling of optimism for this summer (not playing down events in Ukraine). I wonder what’s happened to all the families who loved the Tanit. Have they given up on Ibiza or just moved to other hotels and resorts? Family hotels do seem to have been reduced in number.
Hi Anne, that is a good question! We have had an influx of 4/5 star adult only hotels recently in the area. The Tanit was always one of the top family hotels in the area! Especially Cala Gracio - ideal area for families
I stayed at the Blau Park on my first visit to the island Nick, which as you know is next the Golden Buddha Bar. Looks as though neither are going to be open for the 2022 season. Cala Gracio has changed beyond all recognition with its four and five hotels now popping up, although I would recommend the three star superior Gran Sol at Calo des Moro as an alternative hotel to stay 🦎

Currently the only noticeable thing is that masks have to be worn in indoor spaces but this is expected to be scrapped soon 🙏🏼
