When I embark on the Carnival Glory cruise tomorrow (my 80th cruise or more-I have lost track), I will immediately check in at my muster station since I will get that out of the way, activate my drink card with no holds on it, and do my part to keep several thousands of other people to have to listen to pleas for passengers to muster. In my opinion, those who will not spend five or ten minutes at their muster stations are selfish individuals who have no regard or respect for others.

7:17 I’ve never purchased the alcoholic drink package before. But the last time I went on Carnival out of NYC back in 2019 I was able to use my Bottomless Bubbles soda package on the first day…but there was a sales tax applied to every soda until we were out of the area. 🥤💸

Great video. Ship looks amazing. I definitely notice the Carnival traditions with the serenity deck and food areas but that dining room with Venice theme looks amazing! Enjoy your cruise! I always do muster station first before anything else when I board. Just like to be courteous to everyone on board including the Captain, staff and passengers!

Can't wait! Get on board her on the 27th. The part that sucks which nobody is mentioning is that there are no washing machines too. Wash your clothing. I'm that guy who washes his own clothing and irons it. I hope they have an iron at least.
6:42 I wasn’t onboard but I seen on Facebook that the SAME thing happened on the June 19 sailing as well. The ship left 2 hours late. I was across the river waiting to take pictures of sail away 😅
Those elevators are the best. I am disabled, in an electric scooter. I used to always get my elevator stolen a few times a day on cruise ships, and folks have no qualms running in front of a scooter to get in an elevator. These elevators make sure i get my turn
I saw your review of the Luminosa. I will be sailing on her next May. Man, I hope they do some upgrades--the differences between the Venezia and the Luminosa are like day and night.

Ship has a cool neoclassical aesthetic that I don’t see in modern design anymore, pretty cool! If I go on a cruise it will have to be adult only for my peace of mind 😂

Oh, I saw this ship in Barcelona a few weeks ago, and she looked beautiful. It's SO unusual that she's kept the yellow funnel - a really nice 'nod' to her past, which I like!
Can't believe that I was on the 15-day Transatlantic cruise and did not go to the club once! 😂 Thanks for this beautiful video because I was having too much fun to take any pictures. Also, the big casino area is for smoking. There is a small casino annex for the non- smoking.

On my last Princess cruise (May, 2023) the drink package worked from the minute my ass was aboard. I don't know why you had to wait a couple of days for it to activate.
Pretty sure the “cathedral” picture is actually Venice. Fitting for the ship and brand, but curious if that is new or left over from when the ship sailed under the Costa flag. Also, did they decide to keep all of the smokestacks for this new brand yellow with the blue C (ie the Costa stack) or are they changing it to the old school Carnival stack, red, white, and blue but no whale tale (ie Carnival pre-Tropicale)? The ship you were on last week has the old school red, white, and blue and it looked odd to me…

We were just charged taxes on NCL last summer too. We paid like $.20 a drink? But we drank alcoholic beverages. That's really weird.

That seems very expensive. For a new Italian ship it looks pretty much like the rest of the carnival Cruise lines.

The lobster rolls are fire at the Seafood Shack. The clam chowder is also good in that bread bowl.

Interesting looking ship! It doesn't look feel a Carnival or a Costa ship. Strange that they kept the Costa logo on the funnel.
I know they have a different design because it is costa but I wish they would paint the colors of the whale tail on the ship.
