Nice thorough react! Aprreciate that, your love of music, and delving into XG. These girls and their team are the real deal. They put deliberate time and effort into each song while also paying homage to hip hop, R&B, and Garage/House of back in the day. They're only 2 yrs into this BUT they've been at this journey since 2017 when they were kids. They're not super super popular yet like the BTS or Blackpink but they're paying their dues and earning respect organically. You guys ever check out the XG Tape 3 and 4 series?

In fact it was Cocona who had wanted to shave her head for a long time. She talked it over with Simon (JAKOPS) her producer but he told her that there was not yet a song where her concept would fit. When they released WOKE UP they gave her the go ahead, they even decided to do it in the same music video. For me XG is the first girl group where they make their own decisions, even if there is a general line to follow. They are not tied to an aesthetic, to weighing 56kg to look like noodles with legs, etc. Everything that happens in the Kpop world. And best of all, XG girls enjoy what they do because they get suggestions, not impositions. Very good reaction and discussion
Mya is always addressing the haters. Also notice, in their dancing, they do this thing where who ever is being highlighted, there are at least 2 other girls surrounding them as “hype” people. It’s subtle but it works. And they do an amazing job sharing the shine.
You guys really angered the Alphaz (fandom) cause you guys dont have the typical view count for a reaction. lol You guys seem to be open minded so feel free to choose any of their music videos to react from. Be it based on view counts or random , i can assure you their videos don't miss. Look forward to your next reaction.
