Peace Silver Dollars are an excellent way to own a piece of history, while concurrently investing in the physical precious metal silver. Peace Silver Dollars are composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. They weigh 26.73 grams. This equates to approximately .7734 Troy ounces of silver and approximately .1 ounce of copper per coin. Some dates and mint marks carry a very high numismatic ("collector") premium over spot. This value can go even higher, if the coin is in mint state condition. Even circulated "junk silver" Peace Silver Dollars should likely be valued at or slightly above the spot price of silver due to their silver content plus collectibility. Peace Silver Dollars are becoming harder to obtain nowadays due to the fact that an abundance of common dates were melted down and coin collectors and investors are hoarding the more collectible coins. Mine is original, I found it in my backyard when I was planting tomatoes seeds, how can I get in touch with in order to show you the pics...?
Two questions, how do I know if they're fake & how do I clean one without damaging it or should I not clean it? (Found this exact coin in my papaw's stuff, kept it on my shelf for years)
NEVER clean a coin! If will radically reduce value! I would suggest picking up the book within this video’s description to estimate potential coin value.
❤I have that coin "ONE DOLLAR PEACE" 1926❤

I have a question
I live in PA, I have many coins like this, some dated to the late 1800s. I know nothing about them. When my grandfather died, he gave them to my dad, my dad gave them to me when I was born before he took off. I'm 36 now and I need to have them appraised. Who is a reputable person. And if i can sell them, to whom?
i have this coin but its in better condition that yours whats the value of it

Why didn't you point out the "D" mint mark on the reverse?
Great question. I guess simply because some other coins have different mint marks.
IrixGuy's Adventure Channel Just wondering, maybe to show where the mint mark is located?
VimanaPilot Check the book linked within this video's description. It's a great source of knowledge.
IrixGuy's Adventure Channel I didn't mean I needed the education, I was suggesting you point out where the mint marks on these coins were for everyone's benefit, there are those who may not know where to look. That's all.
