No doubt. Bulls fan here, grateful we lost this game. Made us want it even more. Had we won this game, there is no sweep of Detroit in 1990; no 6-0 in the finals and there is no 72 win season. I truly believe that.

Yeah Michael averaged 30, 6, and 7 against Orlando in 1995 and shot better that year from the floor than he did in 96,97and 98 when he won championships. The bulls never had a legit center plus in 1995 they were getting abused by Shaq and Horace so they went and got Rodman. I actually agree. The 1989 Lakers backcourt was injured so there was NO Showtime and Kareem was retiring. In the 1990 finals, the Pistons were too experienced and completely took Portland out of their rhythm, mentally and physically.

@danielle1216I think the Rockets woulda beat them at least once in a seven fame series
They didn't end the Lakers, Kareem's retirement, and being age 42, ended the Lakers
One stat about those Pistons that gets overlooked: in their back to back titles, 5-0 in Finals games on the road
Me & my brother used to watch these games up in our room. We never missed the intros
Ordinarily Brent Musburger would have been on the call for this game but he was infamously fired by CBS at the Final Four two months prior.
This bad boys team dismantled Jordan in this game 7. They were dominating and tarnishing the bulls.
David Stern said enough of that in 1991
Michael would emerge from this series and three peat a year later
