Right! It's good to see the young people be more accepting of different cultures unlike their parents and grand parents who would be less accepting because of tradition and faith.
I absolutely LOVED this young lady. She's so complimentary and non-judgemental. A testament to how she was raised. I sincerely wish more young people could behave this way instead of focusing on how we are different. Applause for her!
If you guys are going to do a part 2, explain to the guest that Drag is a very diverse art form that is not always related to being as feminine as possible, and that there are women who also do drag (drag king and drag queen too). I suggest showing drags like: Sasha Velour, Sharon Needles, Plastique Tiara etc. Great video, Hyunkyung is so pretty ♡
The lip sync between Latrice and (idk the other ones name) was so CRINGE. Latrice was feeling the song and the other was just flipping around and looking for attention
Oh Hell No because it shows that it isn’t all about tricks and dance moves. Feeling the song and acting appropriately works better. Latrice is the best.
She said she can’t imagine Korean men doing it (even though Kim Chi was featured lol) but maybe when she’s older she’ll go to a drag show in Itaewon or something and be surprised 👁
What makes a "good face for makeup" when we're talking about drag queens who are cis men, is usually having cheekbones larger than your jaw, and a good distance between eyes and eyebrow, so it's easier to "feminize" the face and do bigger eye makeup. These qualities are not guaranteed in asian men faces, it might shock you that different people have different shaped faces (yes, even in one specific ethnicity). When we make these statements around race, we're being influenced by our own culture's view on others' cultures. That is super problematic, especially when you talk about a very large group. "Asian" means Indian, Korean, Japanese, Indonesian, Mongolian, Taiwanese, Chinese, and so many others. When you put all these men in the same box and assume something about them, you're generalizing a race, which is racist. With that said, in western culture we have a major racist view on asian men as being "feminine", a social construct that is absolutely toxic, just as much as we think of african men as "hypermasculine". These are racist illusions that should be gone 100 years ago. Stop buying into those ideas, please.
She should see "Nana" she's one of the most famous drag queen in korea ♥️ and she is so beautiful👍🏻👍🏻 they have a Channel called "neon milk" on UA-cam i recomend because they are so funny and their make-up is beautiful 😍😍 Sorry if their are mistakes, english is not my first language 😂❤️
Hmm, interesting she said Korean men would look too masculine for drag but to me Asian men looks so much more feminine and beautiful in drag than Caucasian men. :O
Aleksandar Stevanovic you know Asian men are also Mongolian, Indian, from Pakistan etc and not just Korean, Japanese and Chinese ? I think you are a little close minded and you wanted to be nice but you ended up being racist.
Asian men looking “feminine” is just from a western perspective of masculinity and femininity tho. There are also a lot of Asian men who look even more masculine by our own standards too
Thank goodness for these shows - showing how much open-minded the younger generation is... Love ya'... And many K/J pop guys look hella good in make-up...
"Ru pool drag race" Dela as Maggie Smith voice: Oh, Ruple, was it? She's so cute and so sweet, and even managed to instantly understand things like bearded queens and Trixie's makeup when even longer fans/actually queens don't. Amazing to watch her just understand Latrice even while probably not knowing the words are or what they mean. And living for Fat Femme and Asian, doing the dance! Ugh she's so cute and so sweet!
First time I watched RuPaul Drag Race it took me three whole ass episodes to figure out it was the same person. I must be slow haha... Now Ru is one of my inspiration.
K-Pop idols are kind of like drag queens same with celebrities all around the world...without the makeup and hair and designer outfits and in some cases plastic surgery they pretty much are unrecognizable #DragOnGurl 🏳️🌈
I hope she love her face and won't ever ever ever change her jaw. I know she must be struggle a lot with that because she lives in South Korea. gosh! Koreans obssesed with small face and sharp v line! YOU LOOK CUTE WITH THAT ROUND FACE, HYUNKYUNG-SSI. 💕 I have a round face like her and I hate it when I was teen. now I'm 30 and I love my round face. it's unique. it's ME. I'm sending you love from Indonesia, Hyunkyung-ssi 💕
Wow, I really sometimes forget that it is a different culture. I've been such a fan of east asian music, television and art for so long, that I forget that they are not as close as we thought. In the west, drag is so big, so "in" right now, you can't really escape it, but it is still kinda of groundbreaking there, (even being gay is). I just think is weird that I, as a fan of both western and eastern, there is still this gap, that just overlook sometimes.
I would love to see y’all react to “Beyond Scared Straight”, it will be nice to see how your culture would take to this type of tv program for what it is. It’s a program with at risk youth and they take the to jails with prisoners to try and get them to change their ways before it’s too late.
I would have showed her more of a popular lip sync battle. Maybe Alyssa Edwards vs coco or something that had a lot of death drops just to see her reaction 😄😄
I love that even though she'd never heard of it before she was still open to learning about it
Right! It's good to see the young people be more accepting of different cultures unlike their parents and grand parents who would be less accepting because of tradition and faith.
@@M377ow Its still weird, but I see what you're saying

Omg yes
YAS OMG
FACE CRACK OF THE MILLENIUM

This girl is open minded. She recognized that they are artist. God bless her. I'm subscribing to this channel. The best of lucks. 🌹👍🙏
She's so pure
The lip sync between Latrice and (idk the other ones name) was so CRINGE. Latrice was feeling the song and the other was just flipping around and looking for attention
Miss Kenya Michaels
Never liked Kenya Michael’s from the beginning
Right! Latrice is a goddess.
@Oh Hell No my guess is maybe to show an good lip sync and an bad lip sync at the same time.

I think we’d all enjoy it if you reacted to some Trixie Mattel, Katya, Chad Michaels and Alyssa Edwards!
It’s always the same old chestnuts. God
just let them react to unhhh...oh wait..maybe not the best thing to do..nvm xD
@@Max-qg5vu - yeah maybe not lol
It would be nice to invite some korean drag queens where they personally introduce them to the world of drag
Awe this is so precious!!! As someone who watches way too much it’s crazy to know some people don’t know about Drag Race ☺️
Seems crazy to me someone has never heard of it
@ why click on the video if you hate the subject? let people enjoy things
I think they should have shown plastique tiara to her since he is so young
I think its interesting that she said Asian men would probably still look masculine but I think they have the best faces for makeup
I totally agree!! In general there faces are softer and they grow less facial hair which helps for drag makeup, and all makeup in general

Well she is Asian so she would think that
Tbf a lot of at least, east asian men I see, have very strong bone structures and "larger" faces. Maybe thats why she thought that??
I mean Asian can refer to maaaaaany different types of people so...
She is so cute ...Love her reaction❤😍
i wish y'all let her react on some more epic lip syncz
Secret Mons if she saw as2 shut up and drive it wouldve been overrrrr lmao
Even though she knows nothing about drag or drag race she still picked Latrice as the winner of that lipsync
I’m happy they showed Kim Chi. Her reaction was so pure and she look like she’s very open drag.
Awww this is adorable.. and her reaction to finding out that was rupaul is so precious.. she just knew that was a big deal.
She seems so nice, she's absolutely beautiful and her skin is flawless 😍😍😍😍

I would love if you guys could show more asian queens if you ever do this again!! I mean there are soooo many amazing queens.
Aww when she was proud of seeing the hanbok!
Would love to see some of your other folks react to RPDR too!
Drag race is a must watch. Every season is on netflix.
Rupaul is a global icon of the Drags!!
She said she can’t imagine korean men doing drag cause they’d still look masculine AFTER watching Kim Chi 😂
we're gonna need a full koreans reacting to drag race lip sync battles
Finally someone showing a picture of Trixie now, she looks so good

Show them Kim Chi’s amazing makeups and her runway on a show😍
Can’t believe Brookelynn Hytes runway and Yvie vs Brooke , Valentina runways and plastique didn’t make it
THIS IS SO FUN AHAHAHA AWWW THIS IS SUPER REFRESHING
You should show her Brown Eyed Girl's Wonder Woman music video!! It features a lot of korean drag queens!
Mamamoo's HIP has a few as well 😊
Glad they showed Violet
Dela: "Ruple is it?"
wut wut 😂😂☠️
Incredible 🦋🦋🦋
They should watch their makeup tutorials as well. To really show them the extent of their transformation.
She’s so cute
4:37 is that my girl from ghost whisperer, god i love her
In the next episode. DRAGULA!!!

“If you could watch after graduating high school would you?” That shows how little time students have oh my lord
Well legally you can go to club when you’re over 20 yrs old in Korean age, which usually is after high schoolers graduate
It would be cool if you showed them Drag Kings as well?

Should have shown Plastique Tiara, because she has a very masculine body but looks soft af in drag

we also need to see the shady queens -- tho admittedly that's harder to understand
It's funny how she thought that Korean men would look masculine even with makeup on, while someone from the US would say the opposite.
