3:51 I've got to run
5:37 My Rules
6:47 TV Party (Repo Man soundtrack)
Henry Rollins: vocals
Greg Ginn: guitars
Dez Cadena: guitars
Chuck Dukowski: bass
Emil Johnson: drums in TV Party
Bill Stevenson: drums in I've Got To Run and My Rules
Robo: drums in TV Party (Repo Man soundtrack)
I can definitely hear how these guys influenced the Melvins.
They used to cover I've Got to Run in their live sets. Circa 1991, '92.
Nice upload, good to have three drummers on 1 album
Pretty sure it's just 2 drummers on this. Emil and Biscuits. Pretty sure Bill didnt drum on this record at all.
From the original "TV Party" single:
TV Party - Emil Johnson
I've Got to Run - Bill Stevenson
My Rules - Bill Stevenson
From the "Repo Man" soundtrack:
TV Party - Robo
So, on the original there were Emil and Bill, but the uploader has also thrown in an additional version of the song "TV Party" with Robo drumming that did not appear on the actual "TV Party" single.
@@MrHipBop biscuits is not dukowski, you do know that, right?
This is possibly the most interesting if uneven EPs Black Flag put out.
So, we have Dez, Chuck Dukowski, Mugger, and Greg on the cover. Is anyone able to tell me who the other two very 70’s looking dudes in the photo might be?
One of them is Greg's brother. Not Ray.
Funny enough I once asked Dukowski via Facebook this and he said the guys on the left and right were the residents of the apartment the photo was taken in and friends of Greg's brother Adrian (the guy with the beard, not Dez). So it's them, Adrian, Mugger, Ginn, and Dukowski.
(This was a burning question to me because I got into BF in '92--long after their dissolution but before books and the internet made photos more widely seen, and this was their only release with a "group pic" on the front and thought "Is this them?! A bunch of balding, moustached guys?" I thought they were the most un-punk looking punk band ever. Of course, funny enough, the real Black Flag were pretty un-punk looking anyway. Anyway, for years I wondered who these other guys were. And Dukowski solved the mystery.)
I always thought the guy on the far right was Carducci and the mustachioed fellow was Bill Bartell aka “Pat Fear” from White Flag.
I have this disc!
solo por curiosidad... ¿cuándo y cómo lo obtuviste?
Dk says ALL blackflag is the best BLACK FLAG.
Ho hou copyrigth
I like this version of TV party (that being this early version and the Repo Man OST version) a lot more than the version that's on Damaged
