Why did I just click, and watch entirely, a video about pressing sugarcane juice?
I've not once in my life seen sugarcane in person nor tasted the juice, I live in the mountains and it's snowing right now and sugarcane is definitely not growing here.
But for some reason I watched this video and actually wanted to know if the 3 roller machine was going to win against the 5 roller machine.
I am the one in the video and don't know why this is showing up in your feeds. Weird alogrythms

You should try fresh sugarcane juice atleast once in your lifetime, especially with a little bit of lemon juice added. It's very popular in India.
I don't know anything about sugarcane. I don't even know why I watched the video. I probably live 1000 miles from where sugarcane can grow. BUT. I did notice, in the machine that squeezed more juice, the cane was green. Even the juice was green. That makes me think the brown cane was drier. The green cane probably had more water in it.
A lot of the color has to do with the color of the outside fiber.
David, I would like to comment on your straightforward fairness and honesty. Sure, you are out to sell your machines, but on all of your videos so far I have never seen you attempt to lead the customer up the garden path by statement or omission to any form of inferior product simply for commercial gain. In fact you have even warned your potential customers against certain inferior products. It seems that making sure that your customers are satisfied with a superior quality product is of paramount importance to you. I like that! It means that you are really in tune with your customers and their needs, and that you are heavily involved with your products to the extent that you refuse to represent anything of inferior quality in the selling or development of the machines. Bravo! You are in fact a business man who cares abouit his products and his customers. You have even reviewed others sugar cain juicers and stated the ones that you like in the competition. It is not so often these days that you run across a business man who actually cares about his customers experience with the product they are purchasing, and who is so passionate about the product being the best out there and ensuring it remains that way by fully supporting your customers even after the sale. Thank you again for your complete honesty and straighforward approach. This is always appreciated, and is the real bedrock of a long and lasting relationship with your current and potential customers. We applaud you.

I would like to say this may not have been a fair test to the five roller. Even if the canes had the same weight there could be other factors involved. Were the canes the same diameter and length? It might have been more fair to do a second pass from one to the other machine to see if either could extract any more juice than going by one pass weight. But yes it is a cool looking five roller. I believe I would have to opt for the proven TT750D Pro if I were to buy one now. By the way, will they equally effectively press sorghum cane?
Charlie Little Hi Charlie. The canes were the exact same weght. 2 kg each. The reason the 5 roller did a tiny less was because of the remaining juice stuck to the rollers. More rollers mean more surface for juice to stick too. As the person who did this test I can tell you both machines squeezed out the same amount. Just the roller suface made the difference
i think the point he was getting at is despite all this they basically pull the almost identical weights
but above all the 3 roller is way lighter so even if the 3 roller was the lower performing one for the weight saving you can easily do without those few extra grams of juice to save lugging a few extra kilos of machine

I agree. If we base on just the weight it can be manipulated. We must also consider how fibrous the cane is and the age and ither factors. We must base on the dryness before and after squeezing. There should also be multiple tests not just one.

Well the 2 canes that was put through the 5 roller were lighter in color.
The 2 canes put through the 3 roller were greener in color.
Were the first two peeled before pressed or a different strain of cane?
Either way, inaccurate test.
Both machines worked very well though.
True it was a test in an uncontrolled environment. We did find out why the three roller juiced more. It was because of the remaining juice on the rollers after juicing. More rollers, more juice sticking to the rollers. So in reality the extraction volume likely was the same. Not sure about the color issue other than I had poured it from the plastic test container to a glass when I walked away and was in different lighting conditions. That is my only explanation on the color. Same batch of canes used

It can also be possible that the sugar cane used for 5 roller machine might have less amount of juice .. It cannot be judged at any point.
By the way i am missing this sugarcane juice. You can mix lemon or ginger. It will give more good taste

I'd love to know how durable the machines are and how the hold up to constant daily usage, I'd also like to know worst case scenarios like what can go wrong with the machines, if I'm running a business I can't afford for my machines to get jammed up, as there won't be any local tech support on hand even though I'd purchase multiple machines. Can one or the other push more cane per time?
This is a good question. In fact the TT750D Standard and the EM5500 5 Roller both have 750W motors and the rollers are the same width so the amount they can press at one time is about the same. But in the case of our TT750D Pro, the amount it can press would be more because the roller is much wider than the TT750D Standard and 5 Roller machines. The amount of cane per pass also depends on things such as is the cane peeled or unpeeled? How hard is the cane variety? etc.

David do you have a solar power system machine. Roadside stall no electricity I would prefer a solar power rather than gasoline powered. Reason lots of sunlight n convenient. Please do consider this idea.

Honestly Russ, we were surprised to find out that the 3 Roller can juice out as much or more than the multiple roller machines and I had a good explanation from one food engineer. He said that since the rear roller clearance is the same on both the 5 Roller and 3 Roller the amount squeezed out would be the same. But he said that since the 5 Roller has more rollers the juice comes in contact with, some of the juice sticks too the rollers in the form of the rollers being wet. So since that is more surface area than the 3 roller, that is where the difference is. So probably in reality the 3 and 5 roller actually squeeze out the same. Regarding the Pro, we will be testing that one too. I think it will be a similar result. Always possible but the answer is the small difference was the remaining juice on the roller surface of the 5 rollers over the 3 rollers. So in reality the 5 roller squeezed out the same.

Sugar is calories and calories are energy. The quality of those calories is what matters and the individuals ability to metabolize the energy. Saying do not drink sugarcane because it has sugar is like saying do not eat fruit because it has sugar. Moderation of both is the key. Good comment..

Isn’t the rollers adjustable
Hi Gary, Adjustable roller machines use springs which are inherently weak for the long term..Common cheap quality Chinese or Thai.machines us twist knobs. You will notice the people generally have to put the cane in more than once to get all the juice out. I don't advise adjustable spring roller machines for commercial business. @@andersonfrans It depends very much the quality of the roller surface. Some very cheap machines use Aluminum roller which can oxidize and you can taste it in the cane juice. We only use quality food grade SS material in our machines.
