Just curious... Have any of you who are racing or running r/c boats tried a gyro on the "rudder"? I'm just curious if that would be effective at super high speeds, especially in 'turbulent' water.. Have not researched so maybe I'm asking a stupid question.. I fly R/C Jets, helicopters.. You name it.. We use single gyros sometimes just for steering after landing.. Not always, but it helps when there is a cross wind for sure.. Outside of that.. Love your boat and your enthusiasm!!
Great video and congratulations! I’m a newbie and I noticed that your props are pushing water inward. My Zonda manual has mine pushing water outward. Which is correct? Thanks
Probably already answered but both are correct , the boat might be a bit more stable with outward spinning props but for top speed and less power cuts inward spinning is a better option just dial back the steering so its not as sensitive . A few videos here on the Tube showing how this set up works , check out IRONCLAD RC channel where he does this comparison with prop direction on his Animal .
Smooth. Make it faster though. Add more power and double the amount of motors and batteries, and stick a little boom / stabiliser to each side or a blade underneath so it lifts out of the water to go twice as fast. And wings and rocket thrusters and lasers and paint it bright orange to make it really fast. And wax it or use scales like shark skin on the body or carbon nanotubes to reduce weight and scare people.
Gen1, what’s going on with your Miss G? I have just got some ABC style 1716 props for mine. What kind of strut angle will I need to keep her from going for a loop?
My geico sunk a few months back. Best thing for geico is running batteries far up front as possible but also be careful with overheating running bigger props.
I don't believe it was your maiden run because you didn't mention nothing about a maiden run in the beginning of your video find it kind of weird that u said it at the end of the video don't think it was the maiden run at all
Hey my brother congratulations to you! My Lord that was incredible! I remember when I broke 70 miles an hour running brushed motors one-and-a-half to 1 gear reduction single-prop service Drive graupner U-joint drives! And I thought my battery's going to we're going to melt through the boat and by the way that was nickel-cadmium battery 1700 mxc Emmys! Good job brother great job thanks for the video
My last zonda had hatch screws and still ripped the screw out on bad crash. I tape this one really well and has taken bad crashes already. It has twin SSS 1650kv motors.

Very nice. Mine hit 50 before the servo gave out and it smacked a pier…..so much scrap now
I’m sorry to hear that

You my friend are a little blind… this boat came with rocket 🚀 thrusters! 😂
slow down on the cocaine my man
how much tuning do these take versus like a sonic wake which can be tuned day to day.
It’s not too bad.. just set the drives at neutral and work your way from there.
SMC V3 drag packs??.
Yes sir!
That’s a small boat for 107 damn

Imagine u r a fish in that lake how will u react
Wow.
Can you make it a little bigger?
You could do a roaring trade running migrants from France across the channel to England!
😂
Very impressive. No hatch screws? What motors in her?
