I feel like Mike's feelings on the battle deckprocesss is skewed as a republic player. It's the one part of the game that allows strong counters to republic at the moment.
Jay how did your Ewoks turn out ? You were talking about them a lot and how you were painting them a while ago and haven’t heard you talk about them recently.
Gungans would be great - they have catapults that would be able to do Ion damage from a distance, an auric shield generator, and Ion grenades (maybe surpressive melee weapons) on their infantry . . .
I’m hoping for new objectives/conditions/deployments. Or retiring some and bringing in new ones to shake things up. It would be nice for AMG to bring the rebels and empire up to the standard of the new factions like others have said here
52:20 hard agree with Kyle, the Rebels (and empire too), are seeming dated, and its not just power creep, though thats part of it. Their original design doesn't seem to matter enough in the current rules set to have them feel thematic or play like you would imagine rebels would play like as a fan of Star Wars. Reducing their points only pushes them more into this games horde faction which is not thematic either. Almost need a new core unit or an overhaul of their entire card. Pushing the Rebels towards the faction that is known to be mobile, the best hit and run faction, "make ten men feel like a hundred" faction would be the way to go.
My friends and I rarely do the battledeck process anymore and just randomly pull a red, blue, and green card from the full choice of cards. Battle deck was nice at first but ya it does skew the game towards one player more than half the time and it does feel like you basically auto lose if you dont get a decent objective. Which isn't fun to continue playing.
Honestly, my buddy already play with different deck rules. We basically take our decks, shuffle each scenario line together, and then place 4 down. So it's always random as to what the scenario is.
I agree the core sets don’t help new players establish armies & I hope they’re updated. What the core sets do well is either allow a bit of multiplayer participation immediately or get one player started w/ multiple factions. Their weakness to me is how mediocre those units have become. Even updated cards for those units would be helpful.
I really hope they give us the First Order and the Resistance, I really would love to play the FO on the board. Gungans being added to the republic would also be dope
+1 to "not a fan of the sequel movies, but would totally play those factions and characters in Legion"

This is what the people want.

What about a triple barc list, do you think they would fair better into exd?
Well well now… one of these guys is going to amazed and the other… disgusted lmao.
AMG already has put the work into Republic Era Characters for Shatterpoint, how tough would it be to port them over to Legion, right?

I would be super cool with the sequel factions never coming to the game.

I think gungans are more likely. A whole new faction is a lot to support.
Surely they know better than running off a chunk of players by introducing sequel stuff. But Gungans would be awesome.
