Thanks, great all in one pedal! To my ears, it sounds better when using real guitar amps. Especially real good tube amps. Try it out if you have one. Bet you'll love Cerberus more!
Everyone has their own preference of boost/overdrive style pedals. You can always put it in front of Cerberus. I think it is a convenient solution for most situation. Maybe it's not perfect for most people, but it is definitely useful for a lot of people. Thanks for your support. Appreciate it.
Dear Friend, need your help please, can you please let me know whether I can connect a speaker from Roland Go Pro mixer for the entire band to listen to what they are playing? Thank you in advance :)
@@jimmyrocks43 Hi Jimmy, I think the new Go Pro has 2 mic, one collar mic and the other with XLR...I want to know, even I connect one Mike and one guitar, can I connect a speaker or a monitor through Go Pro Mixer?
I have just purchased this unit and love every aspect of it . Is there any way to bypass analog pedals that you connect between the overdrive and modulation sections . If it can do that now or in an update that would be a very helpful feature . I plan to connect a compressor in between these two sections but I would like for it to be bypassed when hitting the distortion setting in preset mode . Would appreciate suggestions thanks .
I think the only way without any firmware updates is to use another loop controller to do it. As what it is right now, it can't be done. I'm sorry to say that. But I'll talk to the NUX's engineer about your idea. Thanks for point it out.
@@jimmyrocks43 Thanks for the reply i plan on doing just that . I think a bypass between the overdrive and modulation sections (once something is corrected in-between) would be more useful that the distortion/drive bypass currently provided on CTRL switch (or instead of the Mod on/off) . Also a built in compressor pedal is something that would be great for future editions (in place of the mod section or in addition to it ) . Then is unit will truly have everything and i will most definitely buy it . It's still amazing as it is though . Great work NUX .
@@jimmyrocks43 I just tried it and it definitely did the trick! I kept feeling the sound was too thin but this eq trick made my amp come alive like a new beast! Thx again!
New firmware update. Smart tap tempo function included. Ckeck out the NUX official UA-cam channel. They will show you every step to update your Cerberus.
Ehm... no. I didn't think about the midi at all. Maybe it's only in use when midi gets in the game? I never used it. Thank you very much for your kind help, it's very appreciated.
You have to use the software to engage the smart tap tempo function. The link I just sent you can help you complete. Check it out. Glad I can help. Thanks for your support.
Wow that's cool and you sound great! Got this unit a few days ago and used it live through a p.a. and it sounds awesome!

@@jimmyrocks43 hey man thx for the secret eq tip! I just got this badboy and I love the way it sounds through my tube amp!
Finally found a cheap and the best gear. I just an intermediate guitarplayer
Definetely a good trick but it’s not an EQ adjustment, it is a sort of thickening the tone. But it works anyway, thanks.
I like everything about this unit except for the Drive.
But that "fattening" trick is great

Jimmyrocks
It's shit. But that's ok, you get so much quality for so little $ with this. I use my own drives & fuzzes.
Love the mods & delays, reverb.
Jimmyrocks You're welcome dude. I speak my mind. Nothing personal. Great demo and thank you :)
Thanks for the video! What are the differences in routing options between (Drive -> Dist) and (Dist -> Drive)? Which one do you prefer?
Depends on what you want the effect. Dist > Drive mode will give you volume boost. Drive > Dist will give you only gain boost.
Hi budd ..do you use the cerberus infront of the amp or in the fx loop?
Thanks soooo MUCH
CHRISTIAN!
I didn't use any amp in this video. I should say I rarely use amps these days.
@@jimmyrocks43
Is it better in the fx loop? What do you mean?
@@littlechrisvanhalen8783 he's plugged into his computer I believe
Since this unit can be hooked up with the four cable method, why not just put an equalizer in the loop?
Dear Friend, need your help please, can you please let me know whether I can connect a speaker from Roland Go Pro mixer for the entire band to listen to what they are playing? Thank you in advance :)
Depends on how many band members you have. I think the go mixer pro has 5 or 6 input available.
@@jimmyrocks43 HI Jimmy, thank you for your quick reply...say 2 instruments and 2 voice
I believe it only has one channel for mic.

Your speaker or monitor must have it's own power because the output of the go mixer is a regular line signal. It can't trigger an unpowered speaker.

Does anyone has an anoying hissing/huming unwanted noise problem when using dist/overdrive ?
Antoni Ganchev yeah
Thanks for the video. Nice trick. But still not an EQ :-)
Yeah, but to me it's pretty useful this way. Hope it helps.
I think too few players start with straight, clean guitar...if your original tone is full, the sacrifice (loss of Mod) isn't necessary.
Does this eq trick also work running it through tube amp (4CM)?
Of course. But I don't know will this sound great for your amp. You have to try it out.

Thanks! I just upgraded to v. 3.9, but mine doesn't blink.
