Thanks for the great review Sid! On sensitivity, I usually like to increase it towards the top end. If there is a large signal in the hole, pressing the button once when close to the target "retunes" the pinpointer, and reduces the range, so you can ratchet down to a smaller detected area. It goes right back to your preferred setting when you turn it off and on again.
Awesome review - I really like the LCD screen, as it’s so much more simple setting up the different functions than having to count beeps! It’s also easy to pair with the Nokta Legend headphones and works really well wirelessly.
reason i love the MI6 is because of just what you mentioned , you dont want it full power because it picking up everything and makes it harder to actually pinpoint . what the MI6 dose apart from being way deeper then everything else i`v tested , hooked up to my D2 , going full power , with pitch , it gives you alot better depthcontrol , so it makes pinpointing so easy . large footprint( for a poinpointer that is ) and easy to locate target .
I've got nokta accupoint and I've found when searching for tiny target when out of ground it struggles to find. The other thing is I've nearly lost tip getting stuck in sticky mud .I removed the amplifier because it's very loud. I don't have mine paired I'm using nox 700 and headphones will not connect...but it's a great pinpointer love the iron setting and it's very accurate and does make a difference Battery life is great 👍 I bought and paid full price
@englandshistory I was reading that 800 headphones would connect to other Bluetooth devices. But you cannot use them on minelab 700 or 900 the headphones are different it's a shame because I got garrett apex with wireless pinpointer and love that set up .
I love mine brilliant pointer. I have the Nokta Legend and the Ultra so it silences my detector when using the pin pointer and I can only hear it. Only down fall it seems you can ONLY charge it with yhe cable that comes with it. It's the same fitting as Samsung phones and pretty much all others but won't charhe unless using the one supplied.
@englandshistory oh thats strange. I have cable for my samsung phone in my car and in house and both won't charge it. So can only charge it with the cable it come with. Will try another one. How strange
Clean the screen and put a piece of clear packing tape overtop. An old trick I used on my ancient Nokia phones. The packing tape is a cheap, replaceable screen protector.
Everyone always misses testing small foil that a detector picks up great but pin pointer won't. My garret carrot does great on foil and my f pulse does terrible.
All decent machines will give a iffy signal on larger iron if setup fairly open. It sounded like it could be iron but you gotta look at them signals sometimes, especially if on a good spot
Pinpointers are working on pulse detection but other detectors not. So there is your answer. Plus nokta bannana have some features built in so it is basically overtake other pinpointers.
@englandshistory yes but it won't silence your detector. If you have a nokta it will silence it so you can only hear the pin pointer. It doesn't connect to the detector
Yeah I like my m16. Been a good one, just knowing the waterproofing is a issue with the end cap pees ne off. Also the new ferrous on this is a good feature
I got it and love it. This one will be for land detecting and pulsedive for underwater.

Yeah the 700 headphones use a locked Bluetooth so it won't connect to that or the 900 or the manticore

Having a screen halfway down the probe, is a negative in my book, the screen would be prone to being scratched during use.
Love mine . In my 25 years detecting, Been through a lot of pinpointers. This is the best one yet .. . But that's just my opinion 🤷

So an £1800 detector gives a good signal on iron , but £100 pinpointer ids it correctly loool 😂😂😂😂
