Hello, Nick! First of all, we want to express our deep gratitude for mentioning our channel. The bag turned out to be very bright and stylish. We really liked your work. Thanks again!
Just subscribed to your channel, love the chain table and your bag looked like something out of this world! Looking forward to seeing more of your projects!
@positivecouple are some of the most creative creators on this platform. From the designs and execution to the music. I love yall and yalls contributions to people all over the world. Stay up!
If that isn't too heavy, it'd be great on a bigger scale for groceries. Even if just left in the car to keep bags from flying around. I do love the tile idea!
Think if using clear epoxy, it wouldn't look great when down as you'd see the grout/cement through it. Maybe if some backing was used on the tile to prevent that, it could look pretty neat.
That actually turned out really cool! I almost wish that the Legos on the piece of wood in the center we're regular Lego pieces so that you can like click things to the top of it. Like you could put a Lego on the back of the key or a key ring and then click it to the purse. Either way, I love all the stuff you make it's always awesome! I really hope you can partner with Lego!!!
Nick, it's not just these great projects you put together but it's your presentation which makes it all so interesting. There are so many woodturning videos out there which are slow and quite frankly boring whereas yours are just great to watch. You even make turning a bowl interesting! Great work Nick. Keep them coming and, by the way, great handbag!
Nick, thank you for sharing your own personal struggles. As someone living with clinical depression and anxiety I understand totally. Kudos to you for still getting projects done. I have found that working on several at a time helps me. The depression might stall one of them because my heart just is not in it. But, I can still muster the attention for a different one. Love and hugs.
Can resin be thinly sliced? The cross sections of lego looked really cool, as did the ribbons that came off as you were shaving down the edges. They would be great incorporated into jewelry of some kind. It would also be interesting to see if it could be done with a model of some kind, like a physical cross section of a ship, or even a mysterious piece of nature, like a (formerly) termite infested chunk of wood. A kind of stacking puzzle, I guess.
My daughter is now obsessed with this bag. She's been in Lego club, has a whole collection, and is now begging me for this bag 😂 We love all your Lego projects, but this one is her absolute favorite!
I think this, as all your projects, is inspired and brilliant! I think you could start a whole line of Lego accessories! As a woman who loves evening bags I think you could make a small one with fun resin semi-circle handles, maybe even make a circular shaped purse. This is a whole rabbit hole you could go down! 😁 looking forward to what you create next!
I think it would be so cool to get a bunch of the Minifigures and make a whole scene with them and turn that into a purse... I've always wanted to get into resin and I think when I eventually do (have a bunch of art supplies I need to use up first, or hubby may just go full on postal if I got even _more_ art supplies we have no room for lol) I'll do just that.
That bag turned out amazing! Soo cool!! 😊 I'm also suffering from anxiety, it's a pain. I recently had a huge, horrible anxiety attack and when I was desperate for distraction I put on one of your videos and could actually feel alot of the anxiety just melting away, it was wonderful and so needed. 😊❤
Can we just appreciate the creativity and the whole process this man went through to make this delightful creation?! From the usual resin work, which I find fascinating every time, to the wood work, to the fabric and Lego head straps... bro! Amazing work, as always. 10/10!!
That is the bestest and most creative use of Lego I’ve seen in ages. It’s brilliant! I like that it’s useable and sturdy. I was a bit lost about 3/4 of the way through with the red pleather, but I caught up. I do lots of sewing/quilting/needlework our mantra is “ measure twice, cut once” or in my case, “ measure thrice, make a paper pattern, then cut the expensive fabric..” . Loved the video and the shout out for mental health. Even those who seem to have it all together can be going it tough too. Thank you. 😊
I truly love this bag, it's whimsical, one of a kind, quality work and it's cool as hell - it's ALL the things I seek in anything I use! If I wasn't completely broke I'd offer you the money you deserve for it, but like I said, I truly do not have the money. Keep being you and keep creating! Sending you loads of love from me, a _(slightly)_ crazy Swedish woman living in Norway ;D
Thank you for being willing to discuss your mental health struggles and advocating for care. We need more people like you willing to help us break the stigma. My Therapist helped save my life and helped me get to a much better place. I still struggle at times but now I know the signs to watch out for and the tools to help me keep fighting.
I have been watching you for years and this bag has got to be the very best thing you have ever done. My grandson is a lego fanatic and if I showed up with this bag, I think he would collapse from shock, wonder and awe! 🤯💖
That's awesome Nick you never cease to amaze me. Ps thank you for the info on mental health there's a lot of people out there who need it. And if it wasn't for my lathe and being able to make artwork to sell I wouldn't be where I am today. So I thank you and a few others on here that make these videos for helping me figure out what I wanted to do to make myself feel better. Because after all it's worked and I'm not in such a dark place anymore.
This is amazing and it was fascinating to watch this piece develop, sometimes I can visualize where things are going as you are working on them but this time I couldn't figure it out until the end. One of my favorite parts was the choice to use those multicolored plastic...rivet? Grommet? covers. Metal or a single color would have been fine but using the multi colored ones was a genius touch that elevated the whole thing.
I'm a little worried about the weight, especially once it's fully loaded, but it's a really cool bag. What other wearables could you make? Could you make resin shoes? Like how they make wooden shoes/clogs but out of pinecones and resin?
THANKS, Nick, for another entertaining and inspiring project! Thanks for suggesting Better Help! I hear about them more and more. It's nice to see mental health support being normalized. I have many friends dealing with anxiety and depression. I've dealt with it myself. It's good to have options. I'm glad you mentioned your music source. I DID take notice of cool riffs in several places, notably as you were stringing mini-fig heads together for the straps. This was a stunning example of outside-the-box creativity! It's absolutely off the charts, beautiful, creative, and FUN! I appreciate your sharing and dealing with problems like the floating LEGOs and re-cutting the fabric because it was too small. I honestly learn MORE from mistakes and oversights as a maker. It helps my thinking and planning process to make better things. But I also helps me to NOT GET DISHEARTENED by failures. In the past, I'd have chucked it all in the bin and said, "I QUIT!", but now I could "pick myself up, dust myself off, and start all over again." Kinda like Better Help. 😊
Artistically, you could have had one of those Lego heads screaming as you drilled it as one of your video cut ins! LOL. Very creative work of art my dude! Keep up the great work.
Very cool project, Nick! I still love building Lego and I love how this turned out and it was a ton of fun to watch. Thank you for all you incredible work.
Hey Nick.. I to suffer from depression. It’s the first time I’ve heard you say that. Thank you brother. Your not alone. What you do raises my spirits and I see the enjoyment in you to help others.. Don’t stop. Be you and continue to share ❤️🍻👍
Wow. I mean WOW! Nice job Nick! I imagined it would be a 5 sided lego box with strap handles........... But you really ramped it up with the red fabric and the yellow straps!!! TOTALLY COOL!! ❤😍
Wow, what an idea! I never would have thought it could work but you did it. It looks awesome. I really admire how you are so willing to try crazy ideas and new things and new skills. Thanks for sharing, Nick!
Absolutely Incredible!!! I LOVE IT!!! I'm so happy I ran on to you. You should hire a model to walk through the Lego Headquarter carrying your bag. OMG! I would have opened my mouth wide and not been able to close it if I saw someone carrying that. It truly is AWESOME, LEGOLISCIOUS and UNIQUE! I WANT IT!!!

Am I the only one who thinks they would make really cool tiles? Awesome work as always Nick! ❤️
If that isn't too heavy, it'd be great on a bigger scale for groceries. Even if just left in the car to keep bags from flying around. I do love the tile idea!

@@AD270479awesome how you engineered a solution in real time.
What a neat idea! It would look cool in a daycare or a playroom.
Yes

I have never hated any of the things that you make, some of them are different but not horrible, that pencil chair was brilliant.
I love the positive couple as well as you nick
I really enjoy seeing you tempt to make the lego handbag , I do collect anything to do handbags since I was a little girl
Hi Nick! You, sir, are a master gonzo craftsman. Your zany ideas always start out a little crazy but in the end, you always deliver. Thanks.
Love the Lego Bag! The faces made awesome handles!
I'm so envious of your tools. The result is so beautiful.❤

This project is absolutely amazing. It’s definitely one of a kind. The Lego head straps are a stroke of genius. I really enjoyed watching this video.
Love it,,,, so helpful, functional, and creative! Looks stylish too!
Hello, I love the bag. I just found your videos, and they’re an awful lot of fun. I look forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you, Kathy.

Also, Halloween is coming up….something spooky???

I love how Back to the future 2 is playing in the background at the end. Such a good series.
Your attention to detail is great! Great work Nick.
I couldn't begin to imagine how you were going to make a bag with resin and Lego. I am amazed by the result. Fantastic x
