- Episode 7 of CAVE CHRONICLES takes you behind the scenes and along for the ride during Round 7: Elevated of the 2023 Formula Drift Championship!
We’ve been chasing a few issues lately with the car and the first half of the event weekend was nothing but fuel pump, wiring and belt issues. This gave me very little time to practice before heading into qualifying. However, we were still able to squeeze in some much needed karting with the team!
During my first run of qualifying, I overcooked it a bit and ended up with a terrible score. My 2nd run was solid and I ended up with a 92, which would've had me in first place had I not made that mistake.
Battle after battle, I gave it my all and things really started to fall into place. My team worked non-stop and gave me the the best and fastest car out here, so I can’t thank them enough!

I was super bummed out on the contact with Chelsea. I’m a huge fan of both of you. It would have been dope if it was a couple of OMT between you guys instead. Both of you on the podium was still a happy day. 🤘🏻😎 The C8 build is a super exciting build to watch as well. Hope you kick everyone’s ass in Irwindale!

I feel like it should have been a OMT cause it looked like Denofa straightened up pretty significantly in the chase
He straightened up for like 100feet lol
He never straightened it was just a real slow transitioned
@@SimThrills4Uspare me. Rewatch it in .25 speed he straightened up because Matt had a huge gap on him. you seriously must be blind.. he didn’t even hit the outside zone just driving straight to catch up

I Love/Hate how you have to drive 120% just to keep it out of the judges hands.
