As a kid, this story made me a true fan of Sagat. Before, I liked him for being a cool looking boss. But here, he has an arc, realizing that his petty quest for revenge was as bad as Dan's attempts. He beats Ryu while he's even stronger than usual, but refuses to call it a win, because he wants a true, fair fight. I wish this format of story in fighting games would come back, not just for Street fighter.

Então o monstro sagrado do muai thay voltou, ele odiava ryu porque foi derrotado por ele mas conseguiu a revanche mas percebeu que ryu deixou vencer para fazer ele entender que o ódio só enfraquece e não dá nada de bom e sagat entendeu o que ryu estava ensinando a ele quando derrotou o Dan e ele ficou perplexo e jurou ter outra fonte de força acima do ódio e se tornar um guerreiro de verdade.
this is undoubtedly Sagats best look ever. I hope if he comes to SF6 they give him this look back. Stance and all cause in 5 he looked too formal. I like how Sagat has a more unconventional muay thai stance.
SAGAT não é inimigo de Ryu, e sim apenas um rival. Com relação à marca do shoryuken em seu peito, isso foi causado no calor da batalha, sendo q Ryu estava perdendo e correndo risco de vida. Então de repente... Ryu sucumbe ao satsui no hadou, um poder q ele não tinha controle e desfere o golpe fatal, rasgando o peito de Sagat. Já o olho cego, foi o pai de Dan q na batalha acertou o olho do imperador do Muay Thai e acabou falecendo no confronto.... Mas Sagat teve sempre um respeito imenso por Ryu e foi deixando de lado o ódio q ele sentia, e tendo admiração e preocupação com a luta de Ryu pra procurar uma forma de se livrar definitivamente do satsui no hadou.
Sim sim mas ryu percebeu é impossível se livrar do satsui no Hadou e entende que tem que encontrar o equilíbrio e aceitar o satsui no Hadou e consegui e melhor ainda sem fazer como akuma disse e ryu despertou sua shin form e derrotou é destruiu a forma oni de akuma é akuma chorou horrores incomformado com a derrota.

Tanto q em SF5, Ryu pede ajuda pra Dhalsim, conhecido por "bonzo" daí ele enfrenta o devorador de almas e vence transformando a energia maligna do satsui no hadou, lembrando dos conselhos de Dhalsim e dos ensinamentos de Gouken. Dessa forma ele usa o "poder do nada" conhecido como nothing's power" e desperta sua forma Shin. O bom é q Akuma deixa Ryu em paz e não o persegue mais... E Akuma não é o pai de Ryu, pq na animação do SF Alpha, Ryu tem um irmão caçula chamado Shun. Só q Ryu não se lembra de seus verdadeiros pais, tendo sido abandonado numa floresta e um velho o deixou num dojo, sob os cuidados de Gouken (SF: punho assassino). Logo mais tarde, Ken é deixado por seu pai no dojo de Gouken, e torna-se rival de Ryu. No começo, não era indisciplinado e não se dava bem com Ryu, mas anos se passaram e tornaram melhores amigos e irmãos um doutro, amizade q dura até hj.
