*Cillian Murphy* is filming *28 Years Later Part II: The Bone Temple* today, just 0.7 miles South my house in *Bradford,* where he was also filming yesterday, and possibly until the 4th of October too. My house is also just 1.5 to 3 miles South of 12 locations in *Peaky Blinders,* with 5 more *Peaky Blinders* locations across the rest of the city, and more nearby in *Skelton-on-Ure, Huddersfield* and *Leeds.*

However I'll be watching this new trilogy to see the former longest and fastest waterslides in the UK, which I used to go down at least once a month as a kid. There's a lot of big name actors who have filmed in my city this year.

Yeah, that cliffhanger is frustrating. I think if I had to point to one shortcoming of this series, its the pacing. I think this probably would have been a banger of a 4-episode series where the episodes had a bit more time to breathe.
The show creator Steven Knight mentioned the reason he wanted to do this show was because he wanted to tell a story about the rise of a backstreet razor gang of English war veterans through the tumultuous political atmosphere between World War I and War World II. This season really supplants that transition towards the emergence of political and social elements that caused the second World War. I love this show partly because it tells these really intimate stories of a set of people in the past when the world was going through chaotic, momentous changes. Mad Men is another goated show that does something similar, though on a smaller scale. Tommy Shelby and Don Draper are two of the best character study TV characters this century so far imo.
This show is soooo good. I love you apreciate it. And yes, May and Alfie are married IRL. Also, Polly is the late wife of actor Damian Lewis, main caracter in Band of brpthers (Winters)
