Nah. Heisman is gonna go to Tau because he is from a conventionally bigger sports school than WVU and is also a 20yo sophomore. Although Grier plays more like a Pro than any QB in college rn.
Moaz .. I disagree about Alabama being a conventionally bigger sports school than WVU. How so? WVU is a power 5 school. Actually, if you look at the Basketball practice facility at WVU.. it is the best of the best. It is amazing. WVU plays all the same sports as other colleges. The only way Tau would win the Heisman is because he is playing at Alabama. His numbers will nowhere near come close to Grier by the end of the year if they both stay healthy. Tau is a good QB. Grier is a GREAT..QB. Even coach Holgerson said that Grier is a Pro playing college ball. I agree. cheers!
Gerald Fields Alabama Ohio WV are all P5 schools among tens others. I meant from a historical esteem pov since Alabama has won the most number of college bowls, so this may factor in as a bias when it comes to various awards. Just like you said that Tau would become Heisman not because of what HE is but because he is from Alabama.

I just hope that he isn't penalized simply because he isn't playing for Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson or Notre Dame. WVU is truly a remarkable place and absolutely beautiful. Or maybe you mean because he constantly overlooks the short route recievers in Hope's of throwing that NFL highlight real long throw even if it isnt there? Or maybe you are talking about how he holds onto the ball for fking ever? Or maybe the fact that he is possibly the only QB in all of college football to constantly scramble for a 15yd sack because he won't get rid of the damn ball?... he has been doing all of this since the first game of the season and was just a matteenofnrime until it caught his ass and it finally did against iowa... just look at his first sack of that game and you will see sills WIDE TF OPEN right past the first down marker and greir sees him and pumps it but then puts his eyes back down the field looking for the homerun ball causing him to hold onto the ball for too long. To me greir is the biggest problem with wv offense... him and the God awful predictable play calling

Richard Grace blame Dana Holgerson on that. In most spread offenses, the QB’s don’t have much freedom at the line. I think the only QB in recent history was Mariota, but he’d spent a redshirt year and 3 seasons literally redefining Oregon football, so he knew the system like the back of his hand. Tua doesn’t. Stidham never did. Cam didn’t. It’s the nature of the beast that is the hurry up.
