Reactive boxing, counterpunching style, letting them close the distance then slipping and punching when they are already inside, feint-trigger-defend and punch .Trully appreciate it Coach Fran, but i noticed that Inoue also close the distance when he gets difficulties on closing the distance by using a power jab, gliding forwards from very far away and when reaching he throws a whole combo and straight up pivots out when he is done.
Ive been boxing for over 35 years. I have seen it all, pretty much. These days there aren’t many good coaches. People jump on a level one and two weekends later they are a boxing coach without knowing anything, not to be demeaning, i realise everyone starts somewhere but this is a serious sport and requires serious teaching. This man is a tremendous teacher. He understands boxing. Trust me, for what its worth, you can rely on this mans teaching and trust it 💯
Vamos coach! Eres un genio! Trainees and trainers benefit from your wisdom! Thank you for helping the sport with your knowledge! Keep up the good work!
Great video as usual. You explain these things very well and make it so much easier to understand how and when to use the techniques. Thanks for sharing
I guess Fran is always boxing a taller opponent 🤣🤣 #shortarse 🤣🤣 Excellent video, the best on UA-cam 👍 Come On England. Just like you've always said: how do I box a taller, shorter, counter-puncher, sothpaw etc it's just good boxing. You need to box well.
😂 Spot my whole boxing career getting told to 'get inside'. Worked out pretty quick that you can nail them on the way in. AS you say, good boxing skills are what counts...always 👍
Hey there I train boxing intermittently as a hobbyist and for fitness. I was just wondering what is your opinion on doing a jab. Do you do a jab with hip rotation or not? Some say not to . I’ve watched mayweather doing it on his punching bag and he does use his hip. What’s your opinion ?
Yes, often used more. Great for close range work, more power bias. At longer range though can be a little more constrained on mobility. Mix of both for me 👍

Fran, awesome videos!! Can you do a video on Niccolino Loche’s defense?
Tough ask, explaining how Loche worked is tough...but definitely worth a go, thanks for the idea 🥊
If you are taller upper cuts and hooks and and lean on their necks in close what tyson don't do
Awesome video sir!
What about using
double jabs to reach a taller opponent?
Yes, moving in on that 2nd jab is really effective

Hi. What would you change on your arms stance or movements ,fighting with the MMA gloves or bare knuckles? thanks
I was taught that a square stance is more efficient for shorter fighters than bladed. What are your thoughts on this?
Yes, often used more. Great for close range work, more power bias. At longer range though can be a little more constrained on mobility. Mix of both for me 👍
Why is there never any tips for taller boxers against shorter boxers?
Those videos do exist, even Fran has one.
Got done coming next week Martin 👍
