The Paterson is a gun you need to get used to, atleast from my experience with the gun. I have been practicing and some days only using the Paterson, and now i cant really notice the slow reload speed. Paterson just needs a specific playstyle in order to fit your hands. Id personally say each gun is unique in their own way. Nice video, and keep up your content!
also as a tip, you can aim (hold right mouse button) to unholster your weapon, the mistake you made during the 3 duels is you didnt unholster them before he got in your line of sight, which is why he could kill you easily due to you slowing down and having to unholster the weapon.
I think pat is better than both due to insane damage drop off and the damage the pat does, lanc only has 4 bullets and in "all around usage" that would make the lanc a very bad gun to use, because you only have three shots and must be very close.

Also about the damage dropoff its a fair point Paterson's is way better but from far range you would anyway use a rifle like Martini or Hartford and revolvers/pistols are meant for close range anyway. This also means that because you alr have far range from paterson you can use a shotgun/Harmonica as a rifle, and that you could use smth like a Hart Martini/Hartford with Lancaster. Also do not forget price.

i don't have many myself lol but if you want to see it searching in on yt would be easier also if you go to the mines and get some money you might be able to trade for one

just roll when your paterson is out of ammo switch to your next gun

the pats reload is long because it’s a blackpowder gun, it’s based off the 1851 colt navy revolver.
