I am an artist residing in sunny, warm [humid] florida! My paintings are heavily inspired by nature and its beauty. I work primarily in oil paint, and sometimes watercolor. I prefer to work in a mostly realistic style and occasionally experiment outside of that. I post oil painting time lapses, painting lessons and tutorials, drawings, art tips, and occasionally artist vlogs where I share bits of my life as an artist. Creating art is my greatest passion and I'm thankful for the chance to share it with you. ♥

Thank you so much for your viewership and support on this video! I'm so grateful for the chance to share my art with you as well as this incredibly important historic mission ❤️
If I pay 10k can you please make a recreation as close as possible to tha!t painting for me. I would really pay pal 10 grand to you
Lena Danya u don’t know that those pictures of the sun are tinny solar flares and if one is big enough it can leave us with no power at all
Lena Danya OH MY GOSH! I love the painting so much that is such a good painting and i also really love NASA! So i really liked the painting you painted! I hope to paint something like that one day,and see a rocket launch in person.
-THE UNKNOWN PERSON
Blurring the line between astronomy and art
Thank you for making this video.
his face watching the launch is so powerful.
You could feel how much disbelief he was in that it was even happening at all, after all these years, after all the people that turned him and his theory down with no proof, you could feel how accomplished he was feeling.
made me cry and i dont even care about astrology
It made me cry
If i was there i'd hug him hard after the launch. "You have achieved it sir!"
almost made me cry
This is probably the only art video that I haven’t skipped ahead *ever* 😂
Hogs & Kisses saaame
Same xD
Bob Ross?

The sun will always be in the corner
Marshia Erisha UNDERRATED AAAHHH

Same

George B thank you!

😅
I came down there to comment that too! So many tears and why?!
Wow same here! I can hardly see right now! Thank you for sharing!
Sameee
This is magical. I've never seen one of your videos but this is incredible.
Anastasija Viktorova thank you ❤️
It is beautiful I want to be a artist too but I already have a job I’m a doctor so I don’t have time to do art
thought i was just going to get a timelapse of a painting but instead i got 4 more brain cells
Lmaoo
I was like Oh my god I’m learning!” I’m homeschooled so I usually don’t actually do the learning.
I love this x and art. Mixing the two made me far too happy. 😂
dr parker owns my heart omg. the way he watched it in awe. :,)
Science is awesome!!!
My dad is an astronomer and he found this really amazing and me as an artist found this amazing
aw that makes me so happy, thanks so much!
How much money does he make a month?
MoonLight that’s none of your business-
@@jasprghost lmao
sad del rey they could be interested for a career path...
This is just not about painting, it is just like short documentary/film! Very informative and your oil painting was awesome!
Beautiful documentary, almost like a short film. Very moving!
Hey! I love your art!
Yaaaas
Hello
Dr.Parker looks like a sweet guy.We need to make more scientists famous cause they don’t always get the credit for spending so much time into proving many theories than could change the way we view life!🤗🤗🤗
agreed ❤️
You should present that painting to Dr. Parker, Or the team running the mission for the probe. Im sure they would really appreciate it. And it would make a great video. Earned a subscriber here.
fakiirification You’re totally right
What would make a great video
There are few things so inconsiderate as telling an artist they should give their blood sweat and tears away for free. I have a whole slew of odd jobs I need done around my house, you should come do those. That would make a great video 😒
This video was infinitely more than I expected when I clicked it. Thank you.
I was about to comment this almost exactly! It was so informative and beautiful and well made. I hope she’s doing well and has continued to progress in her career
Also beautiful painting
Never have I ever watched a video as informative as this one... perfect combination of art and science. Love it
that means a lot, thank so much! ♥
Anuj Kumar Sahu art an science mixed together is scart :)
Once I started watching I felt like it would almost be cruel to tap away.
I’m so glad I didn’t ❤️❤️
Those 9 dislikes are from people who think the earth is flat
lol :) Lena, did NASA send men to the moon in a rocket ship or not??
Peter Chorao yup
Haha! True.
how do I have so many people paying attention to me
Idk. But what you said was funny.
seeing that must of been breathtaking I would've definitely cried. :,)
Please love me
@@vincentgallagher_ if you stop trolling maybe someone will…….one day
I came to this video expecting to watch a quick speedpaint and move on, but instead I got an inspiring story with beautiful visuals
Yeah ikr....
I cant believe how bright the oil is for the sun!
This is certainly one of the most magical videos I'v ever seen. Art plus science plus history plus wonder!! Just wow! And truly appreciate that you shared this with us.
thanks so much for watching and sharing your kind words, I appreciate your support ♥
The content of this video is so inspirational...
thank you ❤️
After 300 years of painting dots 😅 LOVE IT!!!
I am dot person :P thank you!
At one of my stem camps i was given the chance to introduce a retired astronaut from NASA and me, my parents, friends and other family members were really proud of me. I will never forget that moment
Beautiful! You represented the launch so well in your piece and the launch is historic! Humanity is getting further and further out into the vastness of space.
Something kinda crazy is that Parker actually came to our high school having grew up and lived very close to our school and we hosted a huge event congratulating him including performances from our band and choir and had space inspired art in different styles and mediums from students in art classes!
that is so amazing that your school did that for him!! Makes my heart so happy
One of the best videos I have watched on UA-cam. I almost teared up by your joy when the rocket launched. Beautiful!
Art + Science
How beautiful it is... I really feel like crying now :)
Aw thank you so much ❤️
Einstein believed it to be the most religious feeling
This is so beautiful! I grew up having an intense fascination for outerspace as well as art, and so this video tugged on all the right heartstrings for me. thank you so much for sharing your experience!
this video made me cry :'-) the launch looked so beautiful and i cannot even imagine what it looked like in person. such a beautiful piece, i hope you make more space inspired works in the future ✨💕💫
thanks so much ♥
Ikkkkk

Parker’s face watching the launch is inspiring, he looked so awestruck!!!!
this was beautiful, the shot at 11:35 is perfection it captures the raw emotion and atmosphere of it all
_the amazement in his eyes breaks my heart donno why_
Have been waiting for this for so long... Absolutely amazing!

Typically, when I watch time-lapse videos/ artists videos, I am discouraged by my lack of talent. When I watch your videos, I am not discouraged, I am ✨inspired✨ and ready to paint again. From the artist in me, thank you. So much.
The editing and emotion put into this video is insane! This has inspired me to get back into learning art :) Liked and subbed!
thank you so much for watching, subscribing, and sharing such kind words ❤️Happy to have you along this art journey 😊
Your icon made me think I had a hair on my phone lmao
@@buffybufff I didn't fall for it, not this time :o
Buffy Buff cause you’re dumb
GIRTHquake hey
Wow, not only is your art incredible, but your perfect narration and grounded personality gels it all together into a fantastic video that is far more than just about art.
I dont tend to watch these sorts of vids, and as amazing as so much art on yt can be, the fact that you commentated over the timelapse of it just took this vid to a whole new level.
Got to see a beautiful piece of art be created and learn a few things in the process. Simply fantastic!
thank you so much for watching ❤️:]
Yes 💜
I didn't skip a single second of this, I went back and watched couple of moments over and over again.
I'm in love with this! Beautiful...
This whole video is beautiful
thanks so much ❤️❤️❤️
Appreciated how much happiness and passion you had while explaining everything, and it's a beautiful painting. Let's hope the Parker solar probe finds some breakthrough stuff!
Dr Parker’s reaction the the launch made me tear up.
Dr Parker’s story makes me emotional, but i’m so glad he proved everyone wrong and finally got the recognition he deserved
Lena, everything about this video is amazing. You are a great story teller and artist. You convey not just the documentary, but the emotion too. Have a wonderful Christmas and wishing you all the best for a fantastic 2019 xx
This is the first time I watched an art video without fast forwarding, I find it truly amazing how people like Lena are able to combine their passions together to create something this beautiful. This is an amazing opportunity she had and she was able to share it with us. Thanks Lena.
11:49 I cried a little because it is a beautiful moment
me too ♥
Lena Danya you mean 11:49
this video made me SO emotional. growing up in central florida, rocket launches were a HUGE part of my childhood. my chemistry teacher from high school invited me a few years ago to watch a launch with him at the kennedy space center because both of his parents were retired from there and nasa! theres nothing that can capture the feeling in that moment, you really can feel it in your bones! your painting was breath taking! thank you for sharing this story !!!
Was waiting to watch this beautiful art for months, you must have died painting those stars, that was a lot!! The painting is so ethereal and beautiful!! The launch was just breathtaking, I got tears watching it from phone, cannot imagine how it would have felt watching that live in there.
it was surreal being there, thank you so much for watching ❤️
Your love of art and science combined in a single heart is so inspiring.
who else was about to clap when it launched
Me.

It's beautiful! I had tears in my eyes at the end of this video.. looking at Dr Parker.. You did justice with the painting.. ❤
Oh my goodness, this was wonderful! The painting, the story, all of it. I’m so happy you got the opportunity to experience this and then were so kind to share. I hope to one day see that painting in person. Thank you so much for all that you do to inspire and encourage us to dream so big! ♥️😊
I love that this experience combines science, history and art all into one moment in time. Thank you for sharing everything about this moment in your life.
Why am I so emotional right now! Lol. And who are these 3 people who gave the video a thumbs down??? What's not to like about it? Beautiful painting, and experience. Thank you for the video!
thank you love ❤️
okay so I''m not the only one lol woo I was worried for a sec lol got all teary eyed and wasn't sure about myself lol but awesome video, story & painting for sure
This painting is breathtaking and so is the video in general. Watching dr Parker brought tears to my eyes.
Love.
... You do a wonderful job at proving that artists are interdisciplinary and research and perform studies to push evolution. In your case, you allow the subject matter to pull you, as I do. Thank you 😘
♥
this was honestly such a beautiful video. from the painting to the launch, I was engaged throughout. the video was inspiring and informational at the same time. it was absolutely magical.
Well you almost had me crying showing dr Parker at the launch. The painting is amazing and I’m so emotional right now! Love hearing your passion about space 💛
I’m no artist and for the most part, I really don’t have an inclination to art but I was just absolutely blown away when I stumbled across one of your videos! I’ve watched a few more of your videos and I’m just simply in awe of your talent! Subscribed!
Parker watching his love for space, Fly to the Sun, engraving it with his soul. We shall forever remember him as the keeper of the stars.
The great thing about all of your pieces is that they all have a great meaning to them
thank you so much!
Lena Danya np!
Amazing. More space themed paintings?
thank you, and absolutely!
Didn't think this will make me emotional. But damn it did.
I got the chills. That’s absolutely amazing, I’m so glad you got to experience something that amazing
Thanks so much 😊
Sometime youtube recommendations make me go to right place...
I'm so glad that I found it and you should know it's magical to see this realistic painting and to hear this narration. JUST MAGICAL
I would've been wailing like a baby
❤️
seeing Dr. Eugene Parker’s face while watching the launch made me cry. I hope he’s proud of himself and his ideas.
Woah! I was NOT expecting so much interesting information and such a powerful story! Thank you for sharing 💜💜
A painting video that is also a mini-documentary. It's all win.
A beautiful rendition of our lovely star.
Wow. You are an amazing painter💖💖
thank you so much ♥
I watched this for the painting but I was equally impressed by the fitting tribute to Dr Parker.
I love how you do the voiceover...Both entertaining and full of knowledge...
Many years ago I used to watch Bob Ross paint "happy trees". I can't paint or draw (I'm so impressed with your talent) so I love to watch people who can. Ivve already said it. Your art is alive with joy!! Thank you for sharing it with me.
Amazing. Everything, the documentary, the painting... great job! 👏👏👏
thank you so much!
Amazing...I had tears in my eyes because just thinking of the magnitude of the event. What an awesome event to experience even second hand through UA-cam. Humans and technology is amazing.
This so inspiring to watch that a tear actually fell from my eye. BTW, I sent my name to NASA so that it would be in a hard drive in the probe. I made my family send theirs too. I can't believe to be a part of this, even if it's just a little way. :)
I love that you shared your knowledge about the Sun and not just paint. 😊
I have been to the Kennedy space center and it is super cool. I wish I could go back.
it really is!! you should def give it a visit sometime again ❤️
That launch footage with Dr Parker was so emotional 🥺
Love your paintings keep it up
thank you Ben!
It literally made me cry to see the astonished look Dr. Parker had on his face!! 😥😥❤️😥❤️
So beautiful, I thought I would never see a mix between science and modern art, so thank so much! And your painting is so stunning congratulations:)

I too had tears in my eyes just watching your video, my goodness you were so privileged to have been there and clearly you purvey that in your video. Not only are you such a talented artist you filmed and edited that event like a pro, I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, well done.

This is amazing!! It’s starting to inspire me to paint my own space masterpiece thank you so much xx

Hi I'm lonley ikr 😂
This is a perfect video with a balance of art and science. It shows you do not have to choose between one or the other
