Great video. I was also interested in the Modern Goth tarot but it looks like it might be pipish. The only minor card photo provided -I think it's the 4 of wands. Not that into pip decks, we'll have to wait and see...Also I think the creators of the Every little thing is Magic tarot have an IG for the deck and they've posted a few photos. It looks like a very animal and nature based collage deck, but with a groovy retro vibe. Thanks for posting! ☺

I just can't take most of these fandom decks seriously, especially the Funko POP! versions. I appreciate the connection between fandoms and tarot so as to relate the meanings, but I also feel like going this far removes the esoteric and magic from a tarot practice. Perhaps for some it makes it more approachable and fun, and to that I say there truly is a deck for everyone. But it's not for me. And that's okay. There are A LOT of decks I anti-haul, making the ones I keep more special to me.
All these beautiful women decks. They all kinda look the same. I agree. Body diversity, gender identity diversity, age diversity are really important and it makes me sad that so many creators make these decks with lots of beautiful Maiden energy. It would be great to see some Crone energy in oracle decks. Or at least some more diversity. Perhaps the market is really flooded right now so a lot of this flat digital art feels vapid and rushed when there are so many other choices out there. Or maybe I'm getting more discerning as my collection grows?
Hi Ruby, I did go in and have a bigger look at the Astrology Tarot and noticed that the write up for the Empress and the Lovers card. The Lovers card actually has a repeat of the Empress card as it guide. Unfortunitily I believe they may have may a mistake. Which is sad. You might want to check it out for yourself. I really wanted that Finish deck! It’s gorgeous and my husband is Finnish. I preordered it but cancelled. I have another deck that is not RWS and I never use it.
Just for you know, rune decks most of the time have 24 or 25 cards. Because elder futhark contains 24 runes and sometimes author add one blind rune. So if creator would like to stricly stick only to old germanic runs it won't be more than maximum 25 cards ;) Speaking about rune inspire decks I highly reccoment Gjallarhorn a Norse Oracle. It contains runes, sigils and creatures/gods from Norse Mythology. One of my fav deck. Thank you for the video! I'm thinking about Herbana Witch Oracle an House of Dragons Tarot now :D

Thanks for another great review of upcoming decks. For the Animal Guide Rune Cards, I find that intriguing. I have the mini Witch's Familiar Runic Oracle to help learn about runes, and this one with the keywords could be a possibility... not sure for now. The Tarot of Giants, I agree completely with you. I just don't get it. I have the original version of Tarot of Owls and just love it. I'm a fan of Supernatural, but won't get the deck; the only fanfare deck I would get would be for Lost. Storytellers: definitely a Tarot of the Divine vibe; while I love the art style, there are too many out there. I would agree, there is an oracle overload, so Earth Song just flies under the radar.
The World Oracle Dragon Deck misses a lot of depth - there are pretty good Dragon Oracles out there where you really can connect with the dragons and their energy simply by looking at the card, this deck has only a nice Art but that's it. To be honest that's with a lot of Decks (Oracles and Tarots) the case, like the Magic Cat Tarot, The Feminine Wisdom Oracle Deck, The Animal Guide Rune Cards... I've my birthday in this month too, but only one of those Decks is speaking to me enough of 'maybe' buying it: 'Tarot of the Mini Owls (in the Mini Version it might be a Tarot good for taking with on travels) - The Steam Punk Fairy Tarot is nice too but not as much as wanting to own this.
I'm going to keep an eye out for the Find your Magic tarot and the Land of Giants oracle (I have the Raven's Wand oracle by the same creator). I'm not familiar with the Choose your Own Adventure game, but the tarot deck is on my wishlist because its art makes me happy for some reason.
I added to my wishlist: Tarot Grimoire, Every Little thing You Do is Magic, Tarot of Owls mini and for Oracles: Herbana Witch, Land of Giants and Reiki Divine Healing. I’ll look into these more once they all come out. I already have The Legend of Sleepy Hollow so I’m wondering what changes are being made to it. I have to say this was the absolute worst quality control deck I have ever received. It was cut all wrong and I had to trim all the cards to even make them usable. Lastly, how talented are you! How would you know if there isnt trans women in that deck? Wouldn't they look like regular woman? Since that is the goal? The trans folks i know try to pass. How would they represent a trans woman without it stating it?
Not all trans women want to pass, nor do they all, for a number of different reasons (lack of healthcare, lack of funds, lack of support system, lack of laws that protect them). It’s the representation that counts. Seeing your femininity represented in a deck that claims to be feminine is important. Not just 1 aspect of femininity, which it is clear that deck is all about.
Not every well-written sentence is AI. If you look back at decks from 5, 10 years ago (before chat gpt was a thing) you'll find texts that sound exactly like that.
I think feminine and woman centered decks are being over produced in the community. I think feminine decks are a bit...worse? Because 99% of the time it *only* shows women, no men or any other gender. That to me is a red flag that the creator *most likely* does not know the concept of what feminine energy/ aspects are. I wonder where all these feminine/woman centered decks came from because to my knowledge there hasn't been many masculine/man decks. I can only think it's because the tarot has more men in it??? 🤷🏻♂️ I think The Borderlands Tarot might be a good pick for me since I live in Arizona which is a border state plus the desert theme would be nice since I live in the desert and I dont have any deck that looks desert-like. The Dragon Path Oracle from Caroline Mitchell (Illustrator: Tiras Verey ) was the only one out there really 'speaking' to me. The author has been working with Dragons and their energy for some years (the dragons picked the Illustrator they wanted for the card deck, took her some time to find the 'right' Illustrator they wanted for creating the deck). She self-published it years ago, in 2020 (October) it got published by Watkins. Every other Dragon Oracle deck (or Tarot deck) is missing the energy and soul of the dragons in my perception.

The Finnish deck used to be indie. I have had it for ages. It is da bomb, also for dutchies, because a lot of cultural lore overlaps.
