*My first video of the year! Starting off with a bang!*
I haven't played many games with so many high-quality easter eggs. Dying Light had some great ones, but they outdid themselves in the sequel. I also really enjoyed my time with the game, so this was an added treat. I hope you guys like the video and thanks for watching!

tbh techland don't mess us around like rockstar does, their easter eggs are not too cryptic and always leave us with a reward or a nod to other games. No red herrings.

That Doom Easter egg is amazing. Also one other Easter egg, in the tutorial when inspecting the room you can inspect a record vinyl labeled, “Who do you voodoo” with “B” over it, even Aiden says it sounds familiar. The record referencing the opening song in the game Dead Island that one of the main characters Sam B performed.
It reminded me of that easter egg in Rage where you could play an entire level from Quake

Don't forget the "Who do you vodoo" record from Dead Island in the wrecked mansion at the beginning of the game. Aiden was so confused by it. Loved that refererence!

quick question it’s been years since I played the first one completed it and everything but I never was able to start a new game with all my weapons and upgraded abilities at least that I know of is it possible without having to start from scratch?

@@alexbolt5 it is in the main menu of dl1, use the 2nd option and then open advanced settings. There is a option for newgame plus, difficulty, and even restart from story mission.

At the dev room, you forgot to sit at all campfires in the living room, you get a charm that give +500 durability :)

While all these Easter Eggs are amazing and great to find and do, the little challenge description for the hoverboard one being a direct Back To The Future 2 quote, made me smile.

I was confused about the liquidator but the reason kyle is the reason i believe is because tolga and fatim are helping him. They try to contact him and a radio. So since kyle helped them and they helped him it lines up. Kinda cool
Anyone else pickup on the Last of Us easter egg. In multiple places you can find a dead zombie with a lootable cordyceps mushroom on its head. This is clearly a reference to the zombie outbreak in that game that was caused by a strain of the cordyceps mushroom. In that game it changed the infected head to be more mushroom like.

3:37 that's nice. I think people sometimes forget or ignore how influential and iconic the classic doom games were to video games as a whole. Plus Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal in 2020 were also masterpieces.

About the dead island logo, in the prologue with Spike, there is also a music reference to dead island when you explore the end of the world party. "Who Do You Voodoo" is sung in the intro to dead island by Sam-B just a pretty nod too

I got that developer room on my first play through and it really made my experience a whole lot better.
There is another Easter Eggs near Heron Renegados stronghold, it's in a hanging container by the left side of the stronghold (above the chemical). Inside is a room with My Friend Kyle Crane poster and you can "stay by the campfire" on the bed there. There is also a radio that if you turn it on you can hear the dialogue when Crane first met Rahim and Jade, where Jade ask Rahim about his plan to put bomb inside the volatile nest from the first game.
