What a great video! I recently relocated from the UK to Perth as a GP. I find that, especially if you are an IMG in the UK anyway, living and working in Australia has a lot of perks! :) If you were born and bred in the UK and all of your family is in the UK - I'm not sure it's such a straight forward decision.
Wow, nice to know that you got a job at Perth. Just a question- I’ve heard UK trained GPs should serve a moratorium period of 10 years in underserved areas. Mind sharing how you came across a job in Perth ? Thanks 😄
This video on where to work and live in Australia as a GP and specialist doctor is incredibly helpful! It offers valuable insights into the various cities and regions across Australia, highlighting the lifestyle, career opportunities, and healthcare facilities available. The discussion on factors to consider when choosing a location, such as work-life balance and community amenities, provides valuable guidance for doctors planning their careers in Australia. Thank you for this informative video!

Wonderful videos sir. I am preparing myself to make the moving to Australia cia CAP as I am working in Ireland right now. My question is can you give us a range of money left per month after paying for all taxes and all life’s basic necessary expenses for a GP who works the most average hours?. This is the question that would help me push further towards the move. I have seen websites and salary charts but couldnt get this anshwer. For example, in Ireland at junior level as a single person, I have around 1000 euros left over a month. Many thanks Sir! Wonderful big house. 😊
