  • Ori i te Mua means to Dance Forward. This film portrays a young girl passionate about Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance), which she learned from her mother. The young girl desires to share the love of not only the style of dance but also the love for the Polynesian culture and how it overflows into the land of Hawai'i. The young girl teaches the Ori Tahiti into her womanhood and passes it on to not only represent the traditions moving forward but also the collectiveness of the womanhood that dance has given all the Polynesian women to embrace.
