Thank you. Wish I would have done a full how to video of the install. But this still gives you a gist of what you will have to do. Without removing the whole bumper which is a pain.
@@FF54Vic just finished Installing the nudge bar. I am not mechanically inclined whatsoever but your basic instructions helped a lot! Thanks again. My bronco sport looks great
Just curious, with only pulling the bumper off to where you did, did you actually have room to install the brackets and cut the bumper? It just seems like I’d be working with a space only big enough for my hand to barely move at first glance at that set up. I really don’t want to take the whole front bumper/grill off if I don’t have to but man that looks like a tight squeeze
Sorry for the delayed response. In the video it doesn’t look like you would have enough room, but there is plenty of room to Mount the brackets and trim the bumper. I left the top part of bumper attached and unbolted the bottom and sides. I didn’t want to remove the whole bumper either. So I figured I would give people an easier way to do it with out taking it off. Hope this helps
Do you have a list of sensors that were affected by the installation of the bar? I am about to buy one but am looking for the cons. I have the exact same edition and color.
Honestly, on the big bend addition, the nudge bar clears the sensor, so it really doesn’t affect any sensors on that particular model. I know on the Outer Banks one you have to move the one sensor up so it doesn’t pick up on the nudge bar.
This bar was installed on a big Bend edition I’ve seen photos of it on the other styles of the Broncos but I’m not sure if they change some thing with the mounting bracket for the sensor. Some of the research I did says that you can’t do the round fog lights or it Hass to be positioned a little lower to not affect the sensor
My wife was looking for a particular style of fall slide. She didn’t want super bright balls life. That’s the main reason for buying them separately. Plus we kind of prefer or lean more towards rough country product. To be honest, there is no super easy way to go about it. You either have to take off the entire front bumper, or I found a shortcut to doing the nudge bar which I posted in the video which will save you some time.
I cant pull the blue part off like you said for the bumper. I can only pull out and get the first two clips undone on both sides. do I need to push down on it first? im only trying to do the clips that you said you did - not the front most ones. im using all my strength and I feel like I'm going to break it
Yeah, if you’re only trying to take the front bumper cover off, I would not go past the headlight. Because there’s other clips where the grill is a really hard to get to, but I had to put a lot of force in it to get that part of the bumper underneath the headlights to actually pop off. You might be able to get a better vantage point on it from the wheel well
There was a secret bolt that was preventing me from pulling it off Not sure if it's a 2022 outer banks specific 'feature' but it was 9/32 LOL what a relief
I ordered the nudge bar and light separate from each other due to my wife, having a preference and the style light she wanted. But I do a bunch of electronic work on the side, so I already had a switch. Depends on what style white you order. Most of them will come with a switch. I believe the LEDs I did order did come with a switch, but she didn’t care for the style of the sweats
Yeah. Didn’t think about it till after I was all but done with it. Although there isn’t a whole lot that goes into doing these nudge bars on the new Broncos. Was hoping that it would at least give someone the gist of what they needed to do.
If you look behind the power steering fluid you’ll see a rubber grommet that all of the factory wires go through. I found it was easier to run a fish wire through that. I’ll probably be easy to run a metal coat hanger through it as well I heated up the end and just pushed it clean through.
Good video about to tackle this project.
Thanks!!! Your video save me a lot of time 💪🏼🔥
What a save finding this video ..I knew there had to be an easier way. Being a girly and all I needed the help. Thank you
I DID ITTT!! Only needed this and the fiancé for power tightening the bolts haha
thank you FF!!
No problem I’m glad it worked out for you.
Thanks for this video bro. Best I could find woth easy instructions. About to tackle this job and this is definitely going to help

Hi! It seems like this nudge bar affect me the sensors in terms of ACC. Have you found that to be the case?

Great video man. Where did you purchase those items?
The bill bar is from Rough Country the fog lights I ordered off of eBay
What made you buy the nudge bar and fog lights separately? Was it the price or to make install easier?

Where did you grab acc wire?

@@aylr1221 that’s strange where was that bolt located. The big bend model must not have that
It was between the first and second clips
@@aylr1221 nice yeah the big bend didn’t have that lol
Hey quick question, did you have to buy the switch separately , or did it come with the nudge bar lights?

@@FF54Vic okay awesome thank you!!!
Did you do anything speacial for the electrical ?
No. I ran separate wires and installed the fog lights to a switch. But as far as the factory electrical system I didn’t have to do anything though.
You should’ve done a step by step tutorial man!
Yeah. Didn’t think about it till after I was all but done with it. Although there isn’t a whole lot that goes into doing these nudge bars on the new Broncos. Was hoping that it would at least give someone the gist of what they needed to do.
Where exactly did you go through the firewall?

Honestly bro you if you would have recorded while you actually did what you narrated it might have been a good video
The video was a thought after I did it normally all my videos are done while I’m doing the initial install
