Great lesson mate...been looking for this for ages...and I agree hes one of the best guitarists of all time...had the privilege of seeing him play twice in the 60s when Fleetwood Mac had the original line up..Peter,Jeremy,Mick and John and again when Danny joined them...Brilliant...happy days
just listened to your ending.....spot on!! fantastic. yes, that video of Peter filling in the solo whilst Danny puts a string on....best video ever. i've watched it probably 100 times, and I always thank god that someone caught that performance on camera...it's the one that I always go back to...
Cool - the more Peter Green the better :) Always useful to see how someone else plays it 'cos you can kind of get into a mess when working it out for yourself.
Thanks very much for your nice comment I am glad you like my lessons. I will have some more Peter Green/ Original Fleetwood Mac lesson's done soon and may well feature some of the songs from the Boston live CD as it is one of my favorite live albums :)
Thanks a lot glad you liked the lesson. I would of love to have seen them play live especially in both versions of the classic fleetwood mac line up .....the closest i get is listening to the Boston Live CD! :)
This is dead on. Great video really easy to follow and hey THANKS for taking the time to grind it out! This video was posted on vanderbilly, it took about an hour to get all the parts down. Thanks so much for sharing
Thanks, he is a brilliant guitarist if your new to his music I recommend checking out an album called "Then Play on" it has some brilliant songs and great guitar playing on it.
yea I know what you mean, i haven't been able to find any tab books for Peter Green or albums like "Then Play On" so everything has to be worked out from scratch, but working things out from scratch does help you to become a better player in the end but just takes a little more time to do.
These are some great videos on your channel. I was wondering if you could do any lessons on the live boston cd like Sandy Mary or Loving Kind or Stranger Blues. Thank you so much for being one of the few guitar channels that give lessons on Peter Green and the Original fleetwood Mac
Hello, cheers for your comment. I would of love to have seen the original line up of fleetwood mac play, thats quite a thing to witness. I think Peter Green is the most soulful british guitarist of all time. I hope to have some more of his song lessons done soon. :)
Thanks, I love all the Peter Green lessons, he's my favorite guitarist by far. Do you know "One Sunny Day" a Danny Kirwan song? I haven't seen a lesson for it.
+gdawgs101 Its one from the mid 1990s its got a birdseye top which makes it look very different and has GIBSON on the truss rod cover, i put a seymour duncan pickup in the neck.
