Hello, I’m Joe - I’m a guitar player, singer-songwriter, producer, recording engineer and teacher!
On this channel you’ll find my original songs, covers and solo fingerstyle guitar arrangements. My favorite music doesn’t fit neatly in a box so you may hear me play folk, blues, jazz, & classic rock - you can call it what you want; I feel honored to speak this timeless language of melody, harmony & rhythm.
I was born on May 25th 1991 in Kempsey, NSW, Australia. Since 2010 I have been based in the US and currently live in the Rocky Mountains of Montana with my wife, Genevieve (who teaches illustration on UA-cam!).
I play Maton acoustic guitars, made in Australia (just like me) and am very proud to have my own signature instrument, the JR Signature!

Your version along with Eva Cassidy, really do that song justice...very very nice rendition ;) you are a tremendous hard working entertainer....
I went through seven covers before I found this one. The others felt like they took away that forward movement you feel in the original, you added to it....amazing rendition!

Thanks Emanuele - I use Fujifilm cameras, I have the X-T4 and X-T3, with the 16mm and 35mm f1.4 lenses. But I use a Canon 80D for live-streams because it has more reliable autofocus. My key light is a Godox UL150 with an Aputure lightdome, and I have a couple of rgb lights on the backdrop. I upgraded to this video setup earlier this year mainly so I can shoot clearer tutorials on my TrueFire channel.

Ohhhhh my GOSH, Joe! 😭😭😭 This is my favorite Sting song of all in a lifetime of idolizing every breath Sting takes!! I saw him sing this pretty much a cappella in Central Park in 2001. Still think about it pretty much weekly! Thank you so much for this!!! You’ve layered all your own magnetic fields of gold across every note and it’s breathtaking!💛
