poor Will. having a crush on your best friend who probably doesn’t feel the same way hurts :/. also yes, it is confirmed by the actor himself that Will is gay and in love with Mike.
So to give some added insight for will crying in the van scene, The duffers did an interview about it basically saying -mike misses it, not in a bad way but he just misses it and -when wills crying it's because he has all of these feelings for mike bottled up, and talking through Els name allows him to express SOME of that, but he's crying because he can't say them in a way that makes mike understand. -essentially they also said will is undergoing a journey where he opens up about this to the people he loves the most, "first and foremost being Mike" I think we're going to see the painting again. it's pretty clear between the desert conversation where Will side eyes Mike as he says "especially to the people you care about the most. Cause what if they don't like the truth?" To gauge mikes reaction and with what the duffers have said about will wanting specifically to open up to mike about this (mike can't make a decision on if he likes wills truth or not if he still doesn't understand what it is) that this arc isn't over yet. It's really probably somewhere around halfway. Will is finally able to verbalize some of it, but still not able to be direct. And that painting that will LIED about El commissioning? Makes a perfect little plot devise to get Mike to ask about why will felt the need to lie. All mike has to do is thank her for the painting/bring it up, and El will say "what painting?". I also think it's super interesting that will says "you make her feel like she's not a mistake at all! Like she's BETTER for being different", when we literally got a scene of El telling mike he looked at her like a monster. And of Mike calling El a superhero and it making El feel WORSE.
I think Brenner didn't know El had banished one when he first burst in and said "What did you do?!" because he would have gone there directly from the room he was in when he woke up. He looked at the cameras later.
OK I see you two gentlemen with the opening 👀😏😉 Also I can't believe I forgot this when I first watched this episode but Max telling Lucas "that's presumptuous of you" was a callback to when she said the same thing to him and Dustin back in season 2 when they invited her trick or treating. You may remember Dustin took it as a compliment meanwhile Lucas obviously also didn't know what presumptuous meant but he at least seemed to grasp that it wasn't a compliment 😭😂
I really think theres something more with Will than they are letting on.... Victor described Henry as always being a 'sensitive child', and if you remember correctly Joyce said the same to Hopper season 1. And his continued connection with the mindflayer... not to mention his painting. Plus how El went directly towards will's picture when he was missing, even though there was no way she could have known without static or sensory deprivation which wasnt available to her when the demogorgon got out....
@@YaBoyRockLee As soon as Victor said sensitive, alarm bells rang in my head. My sister is so tired of my theories lol. Keep up the good work, and stay safe during the coming holidays.
I can’t wait for episode 9…. I’m also glad that you figured out that it’s not Aliens, you don’t know how many times I was yelling at the screen , ITS NOT ALIENS !!!. Lol.. and the black dust or whatever with Joyce and Hopper is the mindflare… I feel like Jonathon was thinking that Will needs a friend, confidant and a brother because no one else really sees him for him. Also episode 9 will really show you amazing these actors are ( all of them)… LETS GOOOOOOO !
@@YaBoyRockLeeTheres no aliens in stranger things lol.Upside down is only a dark parallel dimension of hawkins and the monster from ST are from the experiments of dr brenner (papa).

Fun fact if y'all didn't know when you guys watched episode 7 that was it it left on cliffhanger and if I remember correctly we had to wait 2 to 3 months I believe for the other two episodes to come out so yeah
I think Papa is still alive. There's 2 instances he supposedly died but came back in S4. 1. The massacre flashback, he's on the ground along with 010 who's dead. Why would Henry leave him alive if he has more reason to be so mad at him? He likely got killed and lived. 2. Season 1, he got owned by a demogorgon, presumed dead but somehow survived. Theory: 1. He's telling the truth that he's their Papa, their biological father. Victor is not Henry's real father. We might find out in S5 and why Henry/Vecna/001 had powers. 2. He could be 000. That's why all the children are his and they are actually brothers & sisters (from different mothers.) 3. He somehow knows the kids limits & powerscale. In the flashback, they showed us 11 is weak thru the tests but that Papa & Henry knew she's stronger than the rest. 4. Papa/000 created the UpsideDown but cannot delete it. So he sought to produce more psionics & train them in hopes 1 of them will be powerful enough to undo what he had done. But all they could do so far is open gates/portals. 4.1 When he's making 11 find 1 in The Void, he genuinely probably wanted to get Henry out of that horrible place. 5. El hasn't completed the Nina project so there might be more to unlock. When Papa said she could fly, all I remembered was her levitating/flying trying to use her full powers to close the gate in S2. So she hasn't really reached her full potential so far.
They show it on screen, so it must be official. As they say in Star Trek, He's Dead, Jim!. I don't think that Papa can come back from this. And I love the Journey song right at the end of the episode, just before end credits.
This season really made me like Brenner's character so much, despite what he did and I'm sad that he died. I also think that they can still expand his character. But the way he meet his end is perfect for me.
We are. Nothing has “happened” it’s posting regularly on patreon. I’m not pushing you to go there but it does take time to edit. Season 1 ended and i gave it a breather so the editor can finish up other shows.
While on the top level I see why Papa maybe seen in a certain light, he was at least doing what he was hired for. Doing his job. I mean look at from his perspective...we have people walking around with supernatural powers. We have adversarial governments all over the planet. The possibilities of these governments doing the exact same thing doesn't seem like a stretch. On a god/country/national self preservation level, he was probably always right. The problem may have came from his camp ultimately, but could have easily occurred in any other program. While I like El and the group...her and those like her are a huge threat to life for everyone on the planet. Ticking time nukes waiting to go off. We've seen what can happen if Superman turns evil.

remember in the last season or season 2 i think where mike almost gets frustrated with will saying "it's not my fault you don't like girls!" 💔
@@alexoxotv it hurts even more now when noah came out,
