Hi Philip , it has been a rough year after last years hurricanes. The returning sand has kept us sanded in all summer and fall. The winter cold fronts just may give us the surf we need to stir it up . Thanks for watching .

We tried out the Deus II on the beach today. LOTS TO LEARN on it. Not a lot of finds, but sure likes smalls! I do like it, but have to get some more time on it. Will feature it soon on a video.

Hi Scott , I think they did that because the first time it was shipped I didn't get it . The Deus2 is a complex machine. Not a lot of targets out there right now. But that can change with the next tide cycle . See you out there , thanks for watching .

A couple of people I follow love the Deus II. I hope you find a big fat gold ring with it Brian. Lol!! I`ve only been back for a week and haven`t gone out. Too much work around here after being gone all summer. Plus I`m 74 not 24 anymore

It’s been crazy weather. I’ve been sick with a head cold all week. Cant wait to see you fire up that Deus II! I’d live to have one of those just for the lightweight factor. Best of luck and hope you find that big, fat gold ring.
Hi Linda , sorry to hear you have been under the weather . I weighed both the Manticore and the Deus2 on my digital bathroom scale. Both machines weighed exactly the same 2.6 lbs . I expected the Deus2 to be lighter from what I had heard . My first hunt with the Deus2 will be up the week after next. Get better soon and I will see you out there .
Nice video, I got out a few times since Thanksgiving. I dug up a small Silver Ring that was smashed tried to spread it out. It's in pieces now 😕

Hi Gregg, it was . Sadly its been that way all summer with the sand lost in last years hurricanes flowing back in on the beach all summer. Next year should be a much better season for us here. The first Deus2 video will be out the week after next. Thanks for watching .

Brother that’s the way most of my hunts go. If you were in Europe I would say the triangle thing was a Roman arrow head. Since you’re in Florida it’s junk. Wet hunt but I still enjoyed it

I was just thinking when I was watching your video... when is that Deus 2 going to pop up.. well it looks like Santa Deus got it to you before Christmas.. I'm just so curious to see the difference in the manticore in the deus.. I mean.. I've watched a lot of videos on it ... but I depend more on yours due to the fact that I hunt the same beaches, I know what the vdi numbers are , ,about how deep your hitting targets and what you're finding... so I'm right there with you man... I have seen about five or six of the well-known detectorist on UA-cam switch over to the deus in like the last few months so we'll see what happens... looking forward to the next video take care I'll catch up with you. I was sitting here watchin your video an noticed u use the depth gauge alot the D2 doesn't have that, it's gonna take a minute for you to learn that machine. But afterwards you'll love it.

You’ll get it the next time Brian, I think you’re going to like the Deus II, I started using mine and never looked back. Wouldn’t be a bit surprised if your gold finds increase very soon, but leave some for the rest of us 😂
Hi Gary , I'm way overdue for a gold find . I think my last gold find was back in June . Our beach conditions have not been very good most all summer due to the sand washing back in from the hurricanes last fall . Now that the sand is mostly back in the water has cooled off and not many people getting in the water . The gold price hit all time high yesterday of $2,071.00 per ounce. We may see more people out there looking for gold in the future. I will be out there swinging ! Thanks for watching .

Hi John , this is the first machine that had been sent to me . All the others I bought myself . At the moment I have two Whites PI1000 from the 1980s , a Fisher Goldbug 2 from my mining days and a Fisher CZ21 , Minelab Equinox 600 and the Minelab Manticore, and now the XP Deus2 . If you are a metal detector guy then Living in Florida is great all year long. Unlike me in NJ.. too damn cold to be in the water and no one goes to the beach for like 5 months 😂
Hi Dustin , I was born and raised in northern NJ . Moved here when I was 18 . That was 44 years ago. I don't miss it . The surf temp here today is 71 degrees and the people are not getting in the water because its a bit chilly , but they do go to the beach when its a nice day. It will be a few months before the water warms back up here. We do get some nice days in the winter months. Today its 84 degrees and partly cloudy. We do get cold fronts and a hard freeze now and then. Stay warm and thanks for watching .

Hi Peter , you are thinking of " ambergris" . This is not that. I have never found any ambergris but from what I hear it is waxy and smells bad. I know if I ever do see any to be sure to collect it . I hear its worth a bunch. Thanks for watching .
