Hi Verette , the gold has been elusive . I think my last gold find was way back in June. We were sanded in all summer with the sand washing back in from last falls hurricanes. We are long overdue for some gold. I just have to keep swinging. Thanks for watching .

Hi Gary , its the winter grind now that the water has cooled off. It was a rough summer with the sand washing back in from last falls hurricanes and now winter. I'm sure we will get some big surf with the cold fronts that blow through and that could produce some good finds. Thanks for watching.

Hi Jeff , I will be . You will see why in the Deus 2 hunts . Its a good machine but the screen is half the size of the Manticore and does not show up very well on the videos . That's important to me when shooting my videos. Thanks for watching .

@@idigdaytona4478 Beach uses up to 24khz for max frequency. Beach P is a program based on beach sensitive using 40 kHz for max frequency. The higher frequency is more sensitive to gold and smaller targets. Once you get use to the machine it’s turn on and go. As far as display you can make the numbers large by default making them easier to see. The really deep targets won’t give a true id number but the quality of the signal should inspire to check it out. 15 inch nickels are not uncommon they read a nice 61 !
Great video, as always. Can’t wait to see the Deus II ! I had the same experience the last few days I’ve gone out. Some coins, some fishing gear, copper and stainless steel. Talked with a few other detectors and they said the same. Going to have to try some new areas next week. Take care and sending you some wishes for you to find some gold!

Hi Jimmy , soon it will be the season of loose fitting rings ! My old 1916 gold ring was dated Dec. 25 , 1916 . People sometimes get rings that don't fit well this time of year . Be on the lookout ! lol Thanks for watching .

Daytona has not gotten our tourists back since the 2 hurricanes destroyed so many places. That is a big reason finds are off here too.🙁

Im glad I found this channel. I was considering detecting Daytona over Christmas. Seems like a waste of time in the winter unless there is a storm. Florida laws inland suck worse than Tennessee. Nothing over 50 years old can be plucked? Im still a newbie. Any advice? Im not going to disney. My kids can get run over by people with cameras and strollers all by themselves. Im over that. Lookin for me time

Hi Brando , you never know what will show up on the beach . The dry sand can produce finds in the winter. People stop swimming but they still go to the beach on the nice days. I had not heard anything about not digging anything over 50 years old . I do know to stay away from the Canaveral National Sea Shore . No hunting there at all. I don't blame you for not going to Disney. I think a lot of families don't agree with their content of late. Have fun and maybe I will see you out there. Thanks for subscribing and for watching .
XP Deüs II is the best machine ever built. You have to explore the programs and create new programs. Never mix XP Deüs and Minelab cause they “speak” diferent languages. Never give up.

The deus is a great machine but you have to learn one before jumping to another??? Master just one and you will find great stuff! You have to get coil over target or you won't find anything of value!!! 😖

Do you ever go out into the water to detect. Like up to chest deep? I see a lot of guys doing it and finding a lot of rings. Just wondering. Thanks for the video.
Hi Steve , not very often. In my video IDD 210 I was out in the chest deep water trying to recover a lost ring for a beach goer and my camera flooded. I didn't find the ring and the flooded camera cost me a few hundred $ . If I hunt out in the water I need headphones and my viewers can't hear the detector and there is not much to see on camera . When I hunt the wet edge or shallow water at low tide , that area is chest deep when the tide is in. Also hunting in the water slows down the sq. ft area that can be hunted per hour. Its very slow going and the waves push you around so much you can't do a grid hunt. I see videos of people hunting out in the deeper water and most of the time they are in clam water like the Gulf of Mexico side of the state or in a protected bay area.
