The movements of characters and the ball looks relatively good. I don't understand why it is so hard to make a good tennis game. Shot timing is good but a game needs more than that. Power shots and free shots: Moving the analog stick to the left or right should always put the ball inside the court. It should be the default that the shot is "safe". Holding the left bumper makes the shot harder but takes more stamina and with the risk of an error. Holding the right bumper gives you full control of the position. So based on how much you move the stick will determine how close you are to the line.

The one thing that bothers me the most is how narrow, round and low Federer shoulders are, his legs also needs more definition and shape. The overall ratio of each player’s bodies aren’t proportional and look unnatural no matter how much work this game puts into the details of the skin tone. Simply the realism of skin tone does not make up for the inaccuracies of the players unique physical features and shapes, they got the silhouette all wrong. And I know that tennis isn’t the most highly budgeted sports game but things like this really is a turn off in the game. Even I could have instructed the making of each players silhouette better without the need for a higher budget.

Has potential, but too difficult on “normal” level. Partly because there is controller LAG in player responses. Unless you play as Nadal or Federer it’s nearly impossible to beat the opponent, the AI skill is set too high. I want to punch the designers every time I play this game. I can see why the reviews are poor, it becomes frustrating to play. Just copy Top Spin 4 and update the players and graphics - don’t try to reinvent, keep it SIMPLE!
I play on very hard but it's took two years to get there, this is a tennis game that really relies on anticipation and getting the first strike in, I use the drop shot to bring opponents in then try and pass them, good way to gather up some break points!, Volleying is really really tricky on this game
Took at least 20+ games to get the hang of timing, where I think most people would quit. Issue for new players is “Very Easy-Easy” mode is TOO easy after you get used to swing timing. Then “Normal” skill level AI jumps dramatically, where you can lose easily. BUT even for me after 60+ games I can see where the game becomes kind of stale even if you become expert level later. The crowd and announcers are boring. Even Top Spin 4 crowd noises were better. And the character models some look ok some are terrible. They don’t show stats between sets, or in-game. The 2 level process for serving? I dunno. I like the game but needs many improvements. Maybe with TWT3.

I've played multiple top spin and virtua tennis games, as well as grand slam by EA. When this was a ps plus title, I tried the tutorial mode and deleted after 5 minutes. Serving is HORRENDOUS
Top Spin 4 manages to be far superior both in terms of gameplay and character movement, in addition to its graphic appearance, this game is so recent and can be worse than a game released more than 10 years ago.

I was looking to see why no boxing or Tennis & look at PGA but I did see tennis & it just dropped. It looks like ps4. I even see you should only get in for ps4. Then I saw this before going to PGA this is 10 bucks. I don’t care how old it is. The very easy difficulty is REALLY easy. If you struggle on that then TWT2 probably isn’t for you.
