Ukraine is only intercepting half as many missiles as before because they do not have ammunition. This morning 7 Ukrainian civilians died for lack of adequate defense. Our failure to supply ATACMS which could destroy the Russian bases in Crimea that are killing Ukrainian civilians and destroying infrastructure is prolonging this war and increasing the death toll of Ukrainians. From my own personal experience, I'm 74 and my husband is 76 from our experience you slip physically by age 65 and mentally by age 70, the retirement age is 65 for a reason. When I was in my 50's at 5' 2" and 105 lbs I was lifting weights in the gym with my husband, was able to lift more weight than females in their twenties, they use to call me spitfire at the gym when I do 3 sets of 10 at pull ups. Mentally I assisted others set up their business, set up public music systems, volunteered for a football/soccer association where I created a computer program. We both were into fast cars and racing, my husband raced oval track. Now my husband and I call our son to find out how to run Apple shows on our TV; we need help when programs at sites are updated; have to keep all our passwords written down or we forget them; we can't remember where we put items; we forget what we tell each other to remind us of, now we have resorted to writing notes. I have a small sports car a Miata which is lowered with low profile tires, one time due to my bad knee and my husband being 6' 2" and needing hip replacement we couldn't get out of the damn car for an hour! We panicked our daughter would see us and tell us to get a more practical car to drive for our age, therefore we put our bodies in various positions including backwards just to get out of the damn car. My husband had his replacement and I had treatment for my knee, so now we can get out of the Miata but I had to toss all my high heels. Our kids tell us to be careful using ladders as we our old and could break our parts! My husband is building me a 1927 T Bucket hot rod, I wanted a 427 engine my husband said no too much power for a light weight of car - he then picked up a 283 chev V8 - I said no but settled for mustang 302 Ford engine. I want a 4 speed stick, my son said maybe a automatic due to my age! Yeah so age 71 Putin is not the man of 45 year old Zelensky - Zelensky could kicked Putin's butt physically and in a debate.

Last weekend 10th of thousands of Germans demonstrated against the far right, in my hometown Bremen around 45,000 people. The local market place was too small for the crowd! From a political standpoint it might not be the best idea to bash Germany wherever possible. This is exactly what the right wing wants! The more people think our - not too insignificant - financial contribution to the EU isn't appreciated, the better the chances for a right wing government which will leave the EU and close the borders for refugees and migrants. A right wing government in Germany (again) which might spend more on weapons (again) closely aligned with Russia (again) might not be in our neighbours interest (again). So please help me to argue against the far right! Per capita we give more to Ukraine than the US and we have troops and equipment in Slovakia, Estonia and so on.
Without Germany there could be no EU, while things are difficult in Germany the EU thinks it can still up it's spending and demand more from the few nett contributing member states
I still think about that time in the early eighties, day before Christmas when we were called back to our company. The radar screens were full of little dots in a never ending line. The new Marshall Plan for rebuilding Ukraine, after the war, is already in planning. Rebuilding stuff to modern western standards. So everytime their Russian cousins visit, they can gawk at what a real country looks like, then go home to their land of outhouses and dirt roads.

From my own personal experience, I'm 74 and my husband is 76 from our experience you slip physically by age 65 and mentally by age 70, the retirement age is 65 for a reason. When I was in my 50's at 5' 2" and 105 lbs I was lifting weights in the gym with my husband, was able to lift more weight than females in their twenties, they use to call me spitfire at the gym when I do 3 sets of 10 at pull ups. Mentally I assisted others set up their business, set up public music systems, volunteered for a football/soccer association where I created a computer program. We both were into fast cars and racing, my husband raced oval track. Now my husband and I call our son to find out how to run Apple shows on our TV; we need help when programs at sites are updated; have to keep all our passwords written down or we forget them; we can't remember where we put items; we forget what we tell each other to remind us of, now we have resorted to writing notes. I have a small sports car a Miata which is lowered with low profile tires, one time due to my bad knee and my husband being 6' 2" and needing hip replacement we couldn't get out of the damn car for an hour! We panicked our daughter would see us and tell us to get a more practical car to drive for our age, therefore we put our bodies in various positions including backwards just to get out of the damn car. My husband had his replacement and I had treatment for my knee, so now we can get out of the Miata but I had to toss all my high heels. Our kids tell us to be careful using ladders as we our old and could break our parts! My husband is building me a 1927 T Bucket hot rod, I wanted a 427 engine my husband said no too much power for a light weight of car - he then picked up a 283 chev V8 - I said no but settled for mustang 302 Ford engine. I want a 4 speed stick, my son said maybe a automatic due to my age! Yeah so age 71 Putin is not the man of 45 year old Zelensky - Zelensky could kicked Putin's butt physically and in a debate.

I believe because Ukraine is defending itself it's acceptable for other countries to provide weapons to Ukraine under UN rules and under UN it is not acceptable for countries to provide weapons to a country that is the aggressor or invader such as Russia, therefore the UN condemns North Korea and Iran for supplies weapons to Russia.

Last weekend 10th of thousands of Germans demonstrated against the far right, in my hometown Bremen around 45,000 people. The local market place was too small for the crowd!
From a political standpoint it might not be the best idea to bash Germany wherever possible. This is exactly what the right wing wants! The more people think our - not too insignificant - financial contribution to the EU isn't appreciated, the better the chances for a right wing government which will leave the EU and close the borders for refugees and migrants.
A right wing government in Germany (again) which might spend more on weapons (again) closely aligned with Russia (again) might not be in our neighbours interest (again).

Unfortunately far right voices are growing also in my country (Austria) and given the immorality and corruption of government institutions (as well as of the right parties), democracy is endangered. Sometimes it takes an Orban and a Slovakia to make what’s happening clear to those who would rather think that they are simply looking at a Ukrainian problem. I do believe that Europe is finally waking up. The brashness of these right wing movements and the prospect of a potentially fickle United States may actually end up strengthening the EU in some long neglected ways. The importance of the outcome cannot be overstated, bless the Ukrainians upon whom it falls to fight this battle and who fight on every day while the rest of the world goes its blinkered way. You will ultimately save us all.
