the mini-boss fight in sting chemeleon stage takes so long that one time I came back to the stage after collecting everything just so I could hadouken him... and it took 2 hadoukens... it's not a one hit kill
3:30 Always liked the background of this part. This is going to by hyper-specific and make you go "Why the hell would you know that?", but it reminds me of a campground in the town I grew up, but not when it was open with people, but rather the time I went there in the middle of the night on a full moon. The clear ground with unnaturally spaced out trees, the weird uncanny valley of natural and manmade, the bright glow from the moon (though it was blue and not purple like the game). It was kind of surreal. That was 20 years ago.

@SuperYoshi1141 I honestly wanted to, but ugh, the mini-boss just grinds on for too long. Had he been absent I would of done such and took on Sting Chameleon much earlier.
@Rexaura888 Mix that with the number of uses it allows and getting ammo back between fortress stages, and yeah, it is easy to just spam the thing through entire stages! I at least make sure to show off uses for a few other weapons, though.

@UsaSatsui Uh... I think that Pink is right. Defeating Launch Octopus makes the water rise in the heart-container room; defeating the miniboss makes the boulders stop.

@RavenFinsternis He does a good job covering Mega Man rom hacks, and plays very well in a different style than me (speed and efficiency rather than damage prevention), so I enjoy his stuffs. Plus he seems to be the one to watch to see whenever Rockman 4MI actually ends up being finished.

@CastlePokemetroid The only thing I dislike about the ZX games is the continue system. If you get a game over you have to restart from either the last transmitter or save file. Also there could have been some save points put at locations right before the levels. Most of the deaths I got were usually due to bad enemy placement or over use of instant death items. The hardest thing in the first was getting level 4 victories and all medals. The only X games I find the hardest are X6 and X8.
Ah the Mega Man X series. I've played the main X series (Excludes GB Games and command mission). Unlike the normal Mega Man games it's always cool to see X grow stronger by collecting power ups. Its sad that Roahm doesn't want to play these games, as he's missing out a lot. Although I respect his opinion about the video he showed about not playing the X series. However not even the X series can compare to the difficulty of the Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX series. Those games are BRUTALLY HARD!
@SwerveStarEx It doesn't. Beating the miniboss does that. Launch Octopus just floods the basement as well as other parts of the stage, basically allowing you to get the heart.

I always thought Boomerang Cutter was the sub-boss's weakness since it took me half of the maximum amount of boomerang cutter to take it down. So which is it? Shotgun Ice or Boomerang Cutter?

The helmet upgrade will actually protect you from the falling rocks the miniboss causes to fall in the tunnel area. Just something cool.

Actually, Boomerang Cutter is RT-55J's weakness. Shotgun Ice is a much better alternative because it's easier to aim, but it does less damage.

Man, that boss is so difficult that the UI glitched up a bit when that chameleon exploded.
