Excellent 3-D x-ray video of the entire process. Now I finally see and understand exactly what happens during the coupling process! Thank you for sharing and helping us!! Much appreciated. 👍🏽🙏🏽
What's the advantages of this ? and doesn't that just cause more maintenance beings there's on other added air line to be checked and maintain. What happens if the line has a leak could it disengaged on its own and drop the load while driving ? can it be disengaged and just used manually if there is a leak ?
fred it uses air pressure to release so it's fail safe in the event of an airleak at that connection it would not release by air and you do not have to use the air system as it has a manual override so use it line a manual fith wheel or pull the valve in the dash and release it that way also the valve in the dash has a fail safe built in to prevent accidental uncoupling you must be stoped with the transmission in neutral and the parking brakes set

Thank you, excellent presentation.
So what you still have to get out of the truck to drop the landing gear and disconnect your air and electric lines .
I guess if your trailer starts to roll over, you can release it - hopefully successfully before it takes the tractor with it.
@@CIorox_BIeach But you can’t drop it while you’re in gear or moving
