Sunset Crater National Park, Lenox Crater Loop Hike

Update: As of late April 2022, the Tunnel Fire has burned through Sunset Crater National Park in its entirety.

This is Lenox Crater Trail which is part of the Sunset Crater National Park in Flagstaff, Arizona. The loop is a little over a mile long. From the top of it you can see the San Francisco Peaks and all the other mountains around it were actually volcanoes. All of the black rock that you see on the trail is lava rock and the crater itself is the inside of the mouth of a volcano. As per usual, thank you for watching.
