- This is one of the best latest upgrades you can do for your Ford Fiesta mk7/mk7.5 2008-2016, to replace the old factory radio and add a reverse camera. This big screen Tesla style headunit is fully loaded with Sat-Nav GPS, Bluetooth, internet and many more… You can even amplify the sound of your music and be your own DJ, also you can download tons of apps from the play store to use. I've done a full review on the 1st one I installed for my Fiance at the time - • New Android Headunit S... and recently installed a higher spec Apple Carplay & Android Auto model - • Ford Fiesta 2008-2017 ... . Great video! Does the steering wheel control to answer phone calls go through the awful Ford Sync or is that rerouted to Carplay?

Hi, interesting installation, great watch especiailly the rear camera install. I bought Tesla unit for my fiesta 2014 model from another site , seems to be different OS as i don't recognize the setup screens as mine. Unit set car odometer to km from miles and unable to change to miles. when removed and original unit installed, odometer displayed miles again. Also, stearing wheel buttons hit and miss if they worked, have to reset the function every few days.. anoying.
Thank you, this one has a very good OS and you can change it to miles or KM without issues, also the steering controls work perfectly my wife loves it 👍🏾💯

Hi, great video. My car has reverse sensors.. I guess this will still work with them. I also already have a USB just below the handbrake.. Will this still work too?

Yes they should work the reverse sensors should still bleep when reversing, also there is an adapter that comes with the kit which enables your usb to work, it also comes with an additional USB 👍🏾💯
@@CARLISONITafter the usb next to the handbrake is wired up to the unit, can it be used for flash storage/media playback through android, or only for charging?
@@mk.c63 iv never tested it but I know charging works with usb next to handbrake, also you will have 2 extra new usb slots that you can use for storage and charging that comes with the headunit 👍🏾💯

Hello there.
I'm about to buy a 2013 fiesta, and I would definitely like to have some kind of screen/android auto option. Your videos have been very helpful, but despite that I can't decide between the smaller version in one of your earlier videos and this larger "tesla version". Which would you recommend, is one better than the other? Honestly I prefer the smaller version because it keeps the buttons, but at the same time it can seem to interfere with the view, while the larger version blends more into the car, but takes away the buttons. I suppose you liked the tesla version better, as you replaced the small screen with it, but was there a technical reason for that, or did you just like it better? Which one is better/comfortable to use? is there a difference in operation? Performance? If you could give me a longer review I would really appreciate it because I am totally clueless.

If the view is going to be your biggest concern then i recommend getting the tesla screen, both run on an 8 core system so both are as fast as each other, i personally like the tesla screen more as it looks more unique 👍🏾💯
Does it have DAB radio? Or just FM.. I've seen a few videos where it only showed FM radio

So it I've just found out that this one doesn't fit cars with the Sony factory fitted radios in them.
@@hansgruber6358 I managed to fit one on an Ford S Max with a sony radio as no one wanted to touch it due to the Sony radio being a difficult radio to work with, the seller didn’t recommend it, but I tried anyway and got it to work it but was one of my custom works I had to do, i’ll try and find time to post that video soon, but maybe best to get the other one I did a video on, that will be plug and play 👍🏾💯 ua-cam.com/video/qkdZCAxd4c0/v-deo.html

My ford fiesta has parking sensors. Will they still function and show with this unit?
I’ve never tried it with the fiesta, but I believe it may work this ultimately comes down to the programming from factory, with other cars that i’ve installed screens in like the bmw’s and mercedes it shows on screen 👍🏾💯
Can you connect amplifier to it for stronger speakers ? 🤔

I ordered one of these for my Transit van, I would suggest you instal CPU-Z and check the specifications, mine was supposed to be 8 core, 128GB memory, Android 13, and a 1.5GHz processor, when tested it was 4 core, 26GB memory, Android 9.1, and 1.12GHz processor, ther are also many reports on the internet about these fake specifications. Not trying to piss on your parade, but just pointing out many of these units are sold with fake specifications, mine was very slow, thats why I knew it wasnt what I ordered as I have had Android head units before.
Yeah i’ve seen that alot from past places I ordered from, this one was as described that’s why I always get my stuff from them 👍🏾💯
Just to say, i think there is something they have added in the software too, because CPU-Z when opening basically closes within a second or two to stop you checking, have a caamera ready to take an image
