I salute to all old retired WoW players who come here from time to time for some good old memories. Take care, maybe in another life we team up again.
This comment hit me. For the Alliance!
😭😭😭❤❤❤
I will cry
Here!
“Maybe In another life we team up again” true true ☝🏽
Ulduar wasn't a raid. It was a life experience
Ulduar was incredible. Miss the old Hardmodemechanics.
in way you summed up what wow was my man
Best raid ever
A life style wotlk classic also coming prepare your selves
@zeldera yeah Ulduar is undoubtedly the greatest WoW raid of all time... its such a adventure, there are amazing raids in WoW history and there is ULDUAR!
13 years later and still gives me chills
Most appropriate choice of music ever. The graphics made this fight truly epic. Also, how many characters are badass enough to have an attack called Big Bang?
The fact they all go apeshit at 7:19 is awesome too.
Same here
Just like the old naxxramas and AQ vids.
Loved that time!
Man I fucking miss this... Such a fun time of my life.
+Sikdomeshot Demfillsdoe
+Sikdomeshot just know there are hundreds if not thousands that feel the same way. what a beautiful time to be alive
+Sikdomeshot I had the same thought when i saw the clip. Best times of my gaming life in wow ulduar.
Same here brother. So sad time goes by so quick.
To me, Ulduar was the best raid ever. It was the first time Blizz really started digging into really complex boss mechanics. Arthas was the finale, but Ulduar blew away ICC in terms of fun boss fights.
I Agree
Definitely. ToC was just filler, and ICC was there because it had to be (wrap up the WC3 Arthas story). Ulduar is really one of the pinnacles of WoW raiding in terms of complexity and expansion of boss mechanics.
I absolutely disagree on substance but each to their own i guess :P
I had the pleasure of being i
Part of an heroic guild during the Northrend expansion from Nax all the way to up to Ice crown......truth be told ICC was the perfect raid to finish the expansion with, but I agree with Riven55555 Ulduar is the pinnacle of raiding ingenuity that blizzard has mustered, not to say other raids weren't great because they were but Ulduar was a gem and still today one of the most attempted raids done for transmog gear and most importantly for the Proto Drakes. The raid fights were complex as well as initiating "hard modes" mid fight was just aswedome stuff. Never had I so much fun in a raid in WOW and believe me I've done them all extensively, well except the SoO as I took a hiatus but from a a player who actually played through that expansion on the hardest difficulty possible I got to see everything, and I'm not the only one to agree, Ulduar has been accepted by the community. Check the forums and stat charts for raids done, Ulduar is still up there.
Yeah. I remember someone describing Algalon. We used phrases like "That boss hits like a train." so someone describe Algalon as a giant celestial rogue that duel wielded trains. But even tho I loved that fight so much. Its only my second favorite fight in Ulduar. My favorite is Hard Mode Firefighter. That fight took a few nights of raiding to get down. Easily 120+ wipes. Not to mention, weeks before. When we were clearing 10/25 man for the first time on normal. Normal Mimiron was a bitch on his own.
I played WoW from vanilla to Cataclysm, I spent hundreds of days on that game (to a point where when I was typing /played, I was getting scarred of the result, looking at the time that had been "lost" on that game).
I cleaned every vanilla, TBC and WotLK raid. Fought for the first server every time and spent so much time dealing with rosters, management issues, drama, that this game could have been considered as a job for me (without the pay obviously)...
And today, 4 years after I completely stopped WoW, I miss these days and would love to be able to raid again with 24/39 other people, building diverse strategy, optimize my character DPS/healing by theorycrafting/training/gearing...
It's only today that I realize that those hundreds of days of gaming were not "lost", they were precious. I will probably never live this once again in my all life, but I'm very glad I did :)

Tardigradable Time well wasted is not wasted at all.
Tardigradable So understand
Don't waste your time always searching for those wasted years,
Face up, make your stand,
And realize you lived in the golden years.
zakatara Well said.
zakatara DAt ironmaiden reference :DD it's my fav IM song >D
Tardigradable I almost cry. I miss the old days too...
"Your actions are illogical. All possible results for this encounter have been calculated" such a great line
This shit is WoW history. I still love watching this video even after quitting years ago.
damn true, this video actually was, what made me raid and still makes me raid, eventhough too much has changed
Ditto ;]
2019
soundtrack helps do... :D
Still watching in 2021.
Still the best video when it comes to how well the song goes with the encounter.
Lich King World First though, this one is a close second ^^..
SK vs KJ is up there as well.
Thanks for saying that SK vs KJ is a good one as well. Had forgotten about that one and went back and watched it. And I must agree: it's damn near as perfect as this one!
still gets shivers watching it
This one SK vs KJ and Nihilum vs Kel'thuzad original naxx, 3 best PvE vids off all time
10 years ago, I was a huge Ensidia fanboy. Watching the Ulduar progression race was so hype to me. Man this video brings back a lot of memories.
Looking at it, over 9 years later still gives me the chills. Good old times
Used to see you in Twisting Nether, i think you were in PE? I was a noob rogue btw hahaha.
Came here 5 years ago to watch the boss fight.
Returning for the awesome music and epic dialogue.
Pokemon, Pokemon.. Pokemon.
Here we go...
I want to be the very best, like no one ever was... ever was... ever was.
To catch them is my real bet to train them is my cause.
blablablabla
I am born winner, JOHTO
I am a born champion blabla
Pokemon sucks, though the games are awesome.
Try watching digimon for a change, it might be weird, old and creepy but for anime it's more than halfway decent and it's from the same writers and director like Dragon Ball and One Piece. :3
its been another 5 years, time to come back
Same here. A random thought brought me here. I have never faced this boss, yet watching this brings tears of admiration to my eyes...
Hello in 2021
@@am3zz 2022
10 years have passed and yet to this day I always get goosebumps just hearing Algalon's speech. WOTLK was an expansion that I'm really glad I had the chance to experience to its fullest, to this day I never got that same excitement feeling like I did before. I was 14 years old back then and was a raider from Simulacrum-Lightning'sBlade, World top 500 guild. WOTLK was an expansion that made me wake up 1 hour every morning before school just to login and do my daily tournament quests for my Crusader title and mounts, It was an expansion that was worth every minute spent in-game. Sadly after Cataclysm was released it started to go downhill and to this day I only played the first 1-2 months of every expansion and unsubscribed right away. Blizzard is doing something terribly wrong and hopefully one day they will wake and realize that.
Toumi' the Insane
Lol just casually reading this comment, realizing I was in B r e t h r e n on LB. Great times. We were ahead of you in SWP but then M’uru got the best of us :-(
Old WoW was truly magical. It was not just a game, it was an experience we will never forget. The childhood of a generation.
Hear hear
True, and Ulduar was the peak. 3.1 was the best patch of WOTLK and Ulduar the best raid of all time.
Ulduar was the last glorious hurrah of my childhood. I was 16 then. Miss those days
I swear, nostalgia or not, when I hear "Your actions are ilogical" I just get a feeling in my belly for some reason.
Diavolo222 It's a human emotion called defiance.
Raj Singh The act or an example of defying; bold resistance to an opposing force or authority. Ahem?
This is the best wow boss raid movie ever!! thanks to all the passionate players in community, those movies accompany with me through the toughest time before
7 years ago what the fuck man
+sugallama WHAT THE FUCK
+sugallama And I still remember the strat for every single boss on that instance. xD 7 years that feel like yesterday
Yeah holy shit 7 years. Doesn't feel like it's been that long. I've ran into people from the guild I was in during the Ulduar days while playing MoP and WoD and they said they thought I carried the entire guild through the instance because I was the tank. A really good tank. That was when I was in my prime. I miss those days. I stopped raiding shortly after Ruby Sanctum came out. I got tired of the repetitive boss killing and spending my nights doing something other than raiding felt like a breath of fresh air.
shieeet
Holy sheeeeeet! Hello to any old SK and Ensidia people :D
Damn , I miss this madness so badly .... good old gaming days
The first time I saw the background transport us onto a platform in space with the stars zooming in, alongside Algalon saying 'See the world through my eyes', chills went rushing down my spine. It was then I knew, I'll always be a raider
Serious tingling nerd chills re-watching this awesome fight 14 years later. Keep this vid up please 🙂
"Your actions are illogical. All possible results for this encounter have been calculated."
Gives me chills everytime.
a video uploaded in 2009 that was in 720 and you can see more than 5 pixels. truly a gamer moment.
this was the most epic fight because the arena itself was literally out of this world and you felt like you were doing something WWAAYY more epic then killing 8 wolves
Yeah but the issue remains you can't go around saving the world at every boss fight.
Sup degaris
This fight isn't even strategically complicated
It's just a massive gear check for tank and heals
It's sad they call such a easy zug boss as a "raid destroyer"
Yogg 0 is the true final boss of ulduar
Wrath, what a legendary expansion, it was my first and damn what a complete noob I was, I had no clue what to do, how anything worked. But I made so many memories on Terokkar-EU, dinging 80 the first time on my Tauren Death Knight Hordepoower and raided Goldshire, first time stepping into Ulduar on my Night Elf Hunter or enjoying the disgusting advantages of a lvl 19 twink Undead Rogue. These were the days, and from all that to MoP where I ended up raid leading a guild on end heroic progression, this game gave me friends, it gave me leadership skills, it improved my English (I was failing before I started and finished elementary school with a B). Thank you for all the memories and I hope to see you around in the future.
''Huntmaster'' Zuovi
Orc Hunter
Twisting Nether EU
Back in the days, I remember watching this kind of stuff. My guild was one of the top ones on our small server, but even us would only dream about facing Algalon, and I actually liked the fact that not everybody would get the honor of killing/facing every bosses in the game. I liked to watch dreamily those guilds who would fight the bigger battles that we never could.
It never frustrated me to not be able to clean everything, it made the whole game more... legendary. Now everyone wants everything, but it works like currencies : if everyone had 1 billion dollars, it would be worth nothing.
I couldn't agree more with everything you said. It added something mystical to it, people wo actually cleared certain bosses were respected back then. I miss those times.
Best fight of the entire game. Visuals are just absolutely amazing. The story-line is amazing. You feel the desperation of the mortals fighting Algolan. All moved to the next level with the best voice acting the game has done.
The design of this boss' room is just insanely awesome
ensidia's last, and most epic world first kill...
Their last world first was the lich king but blizzard decided to punish them for a bug that was not intentionally caused by them that made the encounter easier.
World first at LK is by paragon
Nikolai Avramov Paragon killed him first on Heroic, Ensidia did on Normal. And Paragon is the only guild to defeat the encounter with +0% buff, which is the only thing that matters there.
Nikolai Avramov
Ensidia killed the LK first. Then Blizzard found that a bug in the engineering rogue rotation was making the fight easier. So they invalidated the kill but instead of giving Ensidia the chance to just redo it after the hotfix, they also have them a 3 day ban and delayed them by one week that way.
This was not the first time that a boss was downed while being bugged because blizzard does not test enough their encounters.
octapusxft They abused the bug on purpose and they were punished correctly. Paragon got the 1st legit kill.
This is the best boss in the entire game. I cant stop watching this kill video
The music, the communication, the players, such an amazing video.
ShAdOw116789 its a shame that raiding isnt this way anymore. majority of the guilds that did all that arent around anymore. paragon went 10, ensidia quit, and thats about it.
yep. now the top guilds are the ones who fell behind in BC.
I watch this monthly.
One of my top 5 favorite videos in existence.
10 years ago this is iconic wow history
Came here after watching the hardcore KT kill. I still remember this like it was yesterday. Now, time for me to go to Sunwell first.
this video is the most iconic one from ensidia. no doubt. the intro from algalon is just epic
good old days, how I miss them, so many good memories. Crazy how much you relate to a game, but while watching this all the memories come back and I realise what a great time I've had.
Jesus I still get shivers when I hear the boss emotes now. Fucking classic.
Fuck. I can’t believe 2009 was so long ago. The last hurrah of my childhood.
Imagine being in Dalaran the first time ever somebody turned in that recall code. What an experience that must have been.
THE STARS COME TO MY AID.
WITNESS THE FURY OF THE COSMOS
BEHOLD, THE TOOLS OF CREATION!
I do what i must
I have felt NOTHING, a million MILLION LIVES WASTED, HAVE THEY ALL HELD WITHIN THEM YOUR TENACITY? HAD THEY ALL LOVED LIFE AS YOU DO?
9 years ago, DAMN, I remember this boss fight better than I do with Deathwing.
Late 2000's trance and this era will never be topped.
2019 and this still gives me the feels thank you andy blueman and thanks wow for creating such beauty
So glad to be able to say I was playing and raiding in the golden age of WoW that was WotLK. The vibe and playerbase was different back then. I come back to this video once a year and when I hear that Andy Blueman song something clicks. Best times!
I played on and off as a kid since mid 2007 on private servers but was always too shy to join any guilds lol. I agree about players nowadays vs. then though
"Hard mode is hard. Some hard modes are harder than others. Then there's Algalon the Raid Destroyer. He feeds off of your tears."
-Valnoth
As an Everquest veteran, Im not a big fan of WoW but i do love the trance music in this video. Not a lot of gamers play trance music during gameplay.
Necro, but here here.
Aww, you are missing out on the best made MMO. :>
Thats, when World of Warcraft was a "must-to-play" game..
And World of Warcraft will become a must-play game when Blizzard releases their legacy servers probably sometime next year.
@@bengtjarlevisteflem3947 , well, that didn't age well
Ulduar was defnitely the peak of my gaming. Although, my guild was pretty casual we still managed to down Yogg 25 normal a while before ToC was released. The encounters, the atmosphere and the friends whom I raided with at that time, was just an epic feeling. And then on the side line, as the huge Ensidia fanboy I was, seeing the boss videos, especially Mimiron pre-nerf and Algalon just made it even more epic.
Hands down its the best world first video ever! Even 10 years later it gives me the shivers. I love u Kungen! I hope U will be back with Nihiulm on classic servers!
After 9 years I am still coming here. So much amazing memories.
playing WOTLK classic now and can't NOT fight algalon without this music
Love this Andy Blueman Sea tides mash-up
This boss kill was the world first at the peak of WoW's popularity and hype. Can't get much more epic than that.
5:23 and "I do what i must" gives me chills everytime
"Berserk in 30 sec."
"Berserk in 10 sec."
"Berserk in 5 sec."
The fact the music starts to wind down there is absolutely perfect timing - it's down to the wire. They are about to win OR lose in just a few seconds.
Oof coming back to check on this beauty again, never gets old, wotlk classic here we come
still watching in 2014 because nostalgia :)
Best world first video I've seen....
+Ffat Stormrage this and world first 25 hard mode lich king...
+Ffat Stormrage Kil'gaydon is prob #1.
+TehObLiVioUs Kil'gaydon.
+Ffat Stormrage SK Kil'jaeden was definitely the greatest
lies
Realm First! Celestial Defender only here i saw this achivment nowhere else ever damn niceeee cant imagine the feel after proving him that he cant be certain of his own calculations anymore for first time in his eternal life
I still come back and watch this video years later to recapture some of that amazing feeling raiding ulduar
Andy Blueman made so much profit after this video was released..
I profited much more! :)
Why?
he deserves it.
@@xycho6352 he clearly does, that video is actually the reason why i'm into trance music today
Gaming isn't the same since the feels WoW has brought to me. Miss these days : (
This has to be the best video when it comes to how fucking epic the encounter is with the added music. holy shit i can still come back to this video year after year and get some tears in my eyes thanks to nostalgia and the fact this video is perfectly made.
To this day I watch this video and immediately think... Man that guild is bad ass.
I miss the days of Ulduar. I come here to listen to the music + boss voice over. Makes the day 100% better.
Thanks to Andy Blueman I now know Algalon 25
Rip Wow man. This video is what got me into progression raiding and wanting to get good at this game among a few other wow videos. Ended up playing some later expansions in top 10 US and a few r1 titles in 3s. This video will forever be one of the best edited raid kills I've ever seen.
The boss being unlockable added so much more to lore experience and when effort translates into reward - making an effort to unlock the boss to get better items.
The lore was amazing too; the whole quest line that was planned from questing in storm peaks with ; you finally find out what awaits behind the door and blizzard still made it coherent with the lore.
Visually stunning raid... I had some of the most fun times of my life during this raid, met some great people in my guild.... It just makes me sad to think that I will probably never experience this sort of excitement and fun with WoW again.
Watching this brings back so many fond memories of my wow beginnings. I started wow when ToC was the endgame content in wrath. I wish I had started before then. Doing this raid when it was current would have been amazing. It was still amazing going into it with ICC gear. This raid was blizzs best one ever. Algolon was an amazing fight.
This video is still pure gold 5 years later. Best boss and best kill to date.
Still come back to this from time to time. My guild was a server first with this kill but I remember watching these guys. Great times these were.
this music is amazing
Andy Blueman - Sea Tides (Original Mix)
thanks
This fight got me into Andy. Hes got a plethora of amazing uplift trance
Ulduar 25 was the pinnacle of the Wrath expansion. It could be (respectfully) argued that it was the pinnacle of WoW raiding, period.
absolutely
Vanilla,TBC and Wotlk was for me the greatest gaming time ever, I will never forget all the awesome players during that time i've met. To bad WoW died after Wotlk but Ulduar and Lich-King was beyond price-less ending of such a great era, even today (2016) the nostalgia is to stong.
Cataclysm wasn't that bad
I agree 100%. Game hasn't been the same since.
I don't think wow died after wrath, however you are right as in it never been the same. Imo, Yogg Saron, Algolon and the Lich King were the most epic fights in the game. Only time wow has had a fight almost that epic since imo was either in Mop with Garrosh, Or Wod's Blackhand. Wod was shit, but holy shit Blackhand was an amazing fight imo.
It's not even about boss fights. IT's about the feeling of the game and the bad decision they made along the way, blizzard that is. What was awesome about Vanilla TBC and Wotlk besides gameplay and community was the feeling of witnessing something amazing, witnessing history. The game was at its peak hype, everything was about WoW. Now ? Not so much. That carried over a bit to Cataclysm but after the abomination that was Dragon Soul, that hype ended. The start and even middle of Cata wasnt actually that bad at all.
It is called "nostalgia" dude ;-) Game was not really better...
One of the most epic WoW Raid VOD´s ever!
Immer noch einer der besten Clips rund um das Thema WOW. Musik, Area . Efolg. Alles passt.
Atleast once a week I come here for the feels.
It will never be the same but damn it was a good ride to play wow vanilla, tbc and then have fun in wotlk. Good times
Man this is so nostlagic Im crying.
2018 AND THE CHILLS ARE STILL THERE!!
I just loved Storm Peaks, Ulduar instances and the raid... So mystical and ancient and awe inspiring!
This video will be on history for years.
To think... this video, along with a few others, catapulted Andy Blueman into the mainstream internet trance community. There has yet to be a track to surpass Sea Tides for uplifting trance perfection. Also, I LOVED THIS FIGHT when I played WoW. XD
I agree so much, Sea Tides is almost perfection in Uplifting Trance pool, I became a music producer with a goal to some day just come close to produce such uplifting trance :)
I love so many of Andrej tracks but I think Neverland (Energetic Mix) will always hold a special place for me.
This song somehow randomly came up on my Spotify and I remember the exact video I first heard it on. Memories
And here we are, 13 years later, raiding Ulduar again
Я не играл 12 лет… соскучился по Ульдуару
and i have the best time atm :D love ulduar
Wow, time sure does fly....
same
Wrath of the Lich King is the best expansion ever. So many good times.
The music with the dialogue gives me goose bumps, I'm happy I get to do Ulduar as current content in classic since I missed out the first time. I know it isn't going to be the same but it's the best I get lol
Years later still one of my fav kill videos.
It is the best WoW movie ever...nothing compares. Kungen.
I remember raiding with them on alt accounts back in Tarren Mill days. Great bunch of people, really missing mid-WotLK and in general the raiding back then. Played Cata for 2 months and it just didn't cut it for me and have been off the game since 2011 (excluding Arena Tournament 3.3.5).
Damn the #Nostalgia
world firsts with trance music is peak wow
When I first saw this video when it came out, I remember getting so pumped from watching it. Hell, I was only progressing through Naxxramas at the time. When I finally got into Ulduar, it was a couple weeks before ToC came out. I always wanted to do this fight at level 80, in all 219/226 gear, but I only got to do it in 232/245 gear, and it seemed like almost nothing from doing it a later released tier, still hit me pretty good though being a tank.
Quel bon vieux temps quand meme cette instance me fait toujors autant kiffer meme apré ces années
Clair ta bien raison elle me fait tjr autant kiffer leur video et celle des twin au colisé
most epic moment I knew in gaming. Thank You
this expansion, this raid, the whole experience of WotLK was the pinnacle of game history, not just wow history.
it was just SO wholesome.. and I'm so honored to experience this era fully back in the day. God I miss this so much
Man this brings back fantastic memories... Oh old WoW, how I miss you..
Ulduar was the best instance WOW ever had the BEST! And the second one is Black Temple !
That`s it !
You forgot Karazhan also
It's the best 25-man, Karazhan is the best 10-man. Ulduar feels too big with just 10.
still the most epic intro ever
This video, the music, the people, the guild - everything is so... EPIC! - good luck at Envy Ensidia ^^ :)
12 years later....youtube suddenly finds this....man, good times ❤
339 people "ARE AFRAID OF 138!"
such bpm. much uplift. so afraid. wow
My fiancé was Zemme in this fight. I didn't know him at the height of his WoW days, so it's cool to see this and hear his stories.
Winternight!
Wow Zemme was my template for paladin for the longest time, wish him well!
Hey Ashley Beaver, give my best to James if youre still with him. The old chav :) /Krematoria
I had the best time of my life during these years Vanilla-Wotlk playing this game with a awesome community, i had so much fun in ulduar especially. Even after all these years playing different games i always go back to the memories from these times.
this is the most epic battle, most epic music choice, very well done video 11/10
