I want you to know how helpful your videos have been to me. I was told inJanuary that I I would be teaching math in an instructional HS geometry class. This after 12 years of teaching and never having taught a math subject ever. I am Social Studies and Geometry I attempted to get someone to do this in my place. Nothing. I was ( and still am petrified!) Your videos are what bring me a level of confidence in the classroom. Now on to slope and distance formula in the next two weeks. I am scared but I know you will see me through ( Jusr recieved 3 days ago student books, no teacher material except for infinity math program. You are my personal lead teacher. objectives and all ) thank you! Thank you! Discalculated Translated to calculated by your leading

Thanks for the great feedback! I'm also new to the common core, and I decided to try flipping my class this year. Glad that another teacher is able to use this with their class!

Thanks for your feedback! I use the SMART Notebook to make the presentations and write in my work using the Airliner Wireless Slate. If your school doesn't have those available, I've heard good things about the Wacom Bamboo tablet too. I think it's worth the $80 if you plan on making a lot of videos like this. To make the actual video I used CamStudio, which is free screen capture software. I had to tinker with the settings a bit to get it how I liked it. Hope that helps!

This is a great way to introduce anyone to the new unit thanks :D. By the way, at the end of the video there was the questions about rigid motion for question a b and c. In the question they asked if each transformation was a rigid motion and they said explain. Would you say in the explanation "the preimage does not overlap the image after the transformation therefore it is not a rigid motion?"

Enjoyed the video. I can surely use this with my students who were absent. By the way what program do you use to do your videos? And what software are you using to make the presentation, I know it's not PowerPoint.

Hello there. May I ask what software you used to make this presentation. Thank you. :)

How do you write the coordinate notation if it is Preimage: F(-1,1) and Image: F'(-2,1)? Or Preimage: G(1, -1) and Image: G'(2,-1)? Basically if the y (or x) didn't change from Preimage to Image?
