Yes. Doing exactly what you did which is getting used to throttle, then tapping your foot brake and trying to keep it up with throttle, exactly what you want to do. How I learned, and I NEVER looped.
Love to see people learning in lots instead of streets, using the footage to reflect is a really good tool. I wish more people did this as im tired of watching 1k boys looping on the highways not knowing what they are doing.
@@rjmakesvideo Don’t really mind if people want to wheelie on the road aslong as they learn properly in a parkinglot and they do not try new things for the first time on the streets 😁 lots are for development
That was fun. And in a nice closed course. The nicest way to say we suck. Obviously, or why be watching. Anyway, be safe. My good friend lost his son when he riding wheelie and accidentally got bumped. I lost my soulmate when we were cut off in traffic. I just want everyone to be safe and take care.
A tip for the foot being harder to use while sitting back is put your heal on the foot peg and allow almost your whole foot to hover over the foot brake dont just use your tip.
Yeah second gear around 7k. This has been good for now since I don't have a cage on the bike yet. Once I get a cage I will feel more comfortable pulling the bike up even slower with a bit more revs. Gonna get some riding shoes before moving my pegs or brake first. Thanks man!
Great video. I recognize a lot but you're way ahead of me. I've never been close to balance point. 7k would mean 37 mph with my gearing. I probably need to go faster. I usually run just below 5k. That's not enough for 636 2nd gear (in fact 3rd gear stunt sprocket).
@rjmakesvideo That is very interesting. I have been experimenting several months with a 60t sprocket on both 950 and 636. I learnt to make one foot high, short wheelies in first gear. But I gave that up for now. I couldn't handle the torque/engine brake during chase. I never learnt rear brake well. Now I practice 3rd gear with the stunt sprocket (like 2nd gear stock). What do you guys who can wheelie say. 😀
My best advice from going dirtbike to road bike is I keep my throttle hand constant after I clutch up and it’s all footbrake from then dirt bikes you can be choppy on the throttle and still have enough to get it back but sport bikes if you chop it it’s hard to get it back up without gaining a shit ton of speed Even at balance just drag the rear brake and keep on the throttle
Yes i agree. I just need to get more comfortable with it and get crash protection on the bike so I can can let myself push it back farther without being worried.
Really enjoying your content. Maybe you could also set your phone on a tripod so that once you blip the throttle and pick it up we are able to see how you tap the rear break and how you look while lifting it.
I understand you want to protect your feet but trying to use footbrake without being able to feel it with your feet/toes makes it sooooo much harder, i personally stunt ride and i cannot do it with my race boots on i have to wear a riding shoe or vans.

Wish it was as easy as my dirtbike was haha

Yeah I choose not to be a statistic lol. Plus it doesn't add to the bad look bikers get by the public doing it on the roads.

I appreciate that and am sorry to hear of those tough experiences you went through.
Awesome vid bro! Your tips definitely made me see some of the things im doing wrong, subbed👍🏽
I appreciate that man! Pumped this helped out for you. Thank you for your support 👍
I got tennis elbow following this tutorial! 💪😎🇺🇸🔥✌
lol. Stay safe!
Love your content man

Awesome video 🔥
Thank you!
Nice vid. Are you pulling up in 2nd around 7000 ?? Don't forget you can move the pegs and the brake lever on that if it helps. Stay safe 🤘

@@NN-fz6eh Sprocket change would help. I took my 17 tooth front sprocket and swapped it for a 14 tooth!

I I Captain!
Didn't you say no wheelies?
He said on the road thats a parking lot
I practice safe riding on the roads and don't want to see people go to jail or get hurt on public roads which is why I said no wheelies on the roads
You make it look easy
Its my happy place
Was 300 th subscriber
They call that 300 W 😎

Does the word Hall ring a bell? 👀
I noticed something but without getting too technical I feel like I noticed something and I am just curious
Its the clutch up on my gsxr 1k that scares me🤣i Might need to order a cage to i can get up the nerve
I used to do this on an R1 as well. Just gotta get used to what it feels like to clutch a bike up but you're not wrong for being cautious!

Will definitely take that into consideration for my next upload doing this!
Post the progress please im also in the middle of practicing and this like give more pointers helping me than a tutorial video tbh
I got you!
Dude you make it look way too easy lol
lol. And yet I still have so much to progress on
What part of GA are you guys from? This area looks so familiar to me but i can't quite place it
This was in Buford GA
Still got a little more to go until you hit balance point once you really hit it for the fist time it will be a night and day difference
I was tapping into the beginning satge of the balance point. Can''t wait to fully be in it gliding
Practice getting to balance point quicker and tapping rear brake, don't try and chase it just get the feeling of rear brake down
I chased a lot in this video. Was not my goal but also wanted to gain in comfort being on the back wheel. Ill get there!
Hey bro do you know where the motorbike ramp is from?
Im not sure. My buddy had it for a while before he gave it to me but I have seen a bunch of them for sale on FB marketplace
Zx6r or gxsr 750? What I’m debating on
750 all day

Vans or AF1s
Vans are the ultimate wheelie shoes. Def going to get an actual riding shoe though haha
Be my new favorite UA-camr 🫶🏻 been trying to hit balance point on my 750 it’s an experience
For sure something that takes a lot of practice. Ill be doing another one of these videos of me trying to get in it more!
