These look really amazing and the way you did this is really smart. Appreciate that you actually show the process too instead of cutting. Very impressive!!
Which font did you select? Where did you buy the boards from? And what brand of glue gun? This is THE BEST lightup letter tutorial. And you describe things well. Congrats on your big day. All the effort you put in... he better treat you like gem.😂
You're so talented, I love the way they turned out. I'm sure it's so much cheaper then buying some already made or to rent some. How tall are those letters you made in this video? Thanks for sharing your super helpful idea.
Awe thank you so much for your kind words 😁 the letters are right around 3 ft tall. I am 4’11’’, I tried to stand next to them in the video so you could use me as a reference. Hope this helps! ❤️
Beautiful job!😍 Thank you for this tutorial 👌🏾 After taking the light bulb out to place it in the tight holes and glue gun secure it... Are you then reconnecting the lights back into the samel light fixture it originally came from in order to work? Thanks in advance for your assistance 🥰
✊I love it I was just thinking I want to have this for my daughter's wedding I actually gave her some smaller letters, I purchased from a retail store $$$ for her graduation🎁 I would love to have, large size alphabet letters with some stubs& flowers on it handmade by me & her dad thank you
Nice video, I was able to follow the steps and make one myself. But my letters keep falling due to the weight of the wires . Is there a way to keep the letter standing?
Great!! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. If they don’t stand up on their own I’d suggest some heavy duty white tape to secure the letters to the floor. Also, if you haven’t already, tape loose parts of the wires to the back of your letters so the extra weight hanging off the back isn’t pulling them down. Hope this helps!
Great job! Did you actually use poster board or phone board? It looked like it bent real easy so I wanted to know what the actual material was. Thanks in advance!
I made the “0” more geometric so it had flat sides and could stand up on its own! If you look up “varsity letter O” you’ll see the same style as in the video and you can just use that shape as your template. I constructed it the same as the other letters though :)
These look great! I'm working on 6ft letters with this similar font. How did you go about cutting the angles for the sides of "o" to make it 3D? Thanks in advance!
Thank you so much! I did the “o” the same way I did the other letters. As far as making it 3D. I made sure all the sides are even I used a ruler to measure. Really appreciate the support!
There's no way this was only 8 buck's! I just made my 22 marquee lights and just the poster board alone and small bulbs was 30 buck's at hobby lobby and I got the cheapest stuff! The pack of lights were 5 bucks for 20 lights! And i got 2 packs and 2 poster boards 3 ft tall and I spent 30 buck's! Maybe she meant 8 buck's for one letter. Either way super cool and I agree with her there's no point in spending so much money seeing that it's only for a party! In my car I made the 22 for a graduation party!!
this by far was one of the easiest tutorials to follow along step by step, thank you for sharing
Nice video.
We were doing these in the 70's.
Everything old is new again thanks to UA-cam!
Girl you’re saving me so much money!!! How has this not gone viral??!! Thank you so much!

Yes that’s correct!
How did you do the curves of the S letter without creasing the foam board?
Where did you get the boards and what size were they
Hello, beautiful work! Where can I find the letters template?
How far are the holes from each other for the lights? Also where did you find letter template ?

Hey :) ich wollte fragen welche Schriftart das ist um es nachzumachen ?:)
Dafür brauche ich nämlich eine Schablone
where did you get the lights?
Niceeeee
You could also use led strips instead. Walmart has em for like 5 bucks
Great idea!
Thanks youuuu. I was lookin for the lights nd this seem less of a hassle
I am wanting to do a promposal this month but I can't find those boards. What's are the measurements and how thick is it?
I’m proposing to my girlfriend soon ! You just saved the day hahah thank you so much for the videooooo
Foam board or the paper poster board?
Thank you soo much
Hi how far are the light bulbs from each other?
How did you connect all the letters? With an extension cord?
Nice video, I was able to follow the steps and make one myself. But my letters keep falling due to the weight of the wires . Is there a way to keep the letter standing?

Is that incandescent bulb?
Did you use an extension cord for all the lights to light up at once ?
The individual light strips plugged into each other. But, I believe we did use one to ply the whole thing into the wall!
Hello what is the name of the White support?
Good job. I'd probably insert the holes before gluing the sides, just my luck, I'm put a huge hole in and then have to start all over again.
That’s a good idea!!
Great job! Did you actually use poster board or phone board? It looked like it bent real easy so I wanted to know what the actual material was. Thanks in advance!
I believe it was labeled thick poster board but I’m sure foam board would work too!
Nice! Are those foam boards? Or just poster boards?
Is that foam board? What font? Varsity
Where did you get the string lights from?
I ordered them online at “5 BELOW”
She clearly said in the video 5 Below🤦🏾♀️
Im curious how u did the "O"
I made the “0” more geometric so it had flat sides and could stand up on its own! If you look up “varsity letter O” you’ll see the same style as in the video and you can just use that shape as your template. I constructed it the same as the other letters though :)
Do you make these And sell it 😊

Which paper is used to make letter
Could you tell me the measurements of your letters or where can I find stencils that large
How many inches between each lightbulb?
Can you post the website where you purchased the lights?
5 below
تجنن ❤🎉
does anyone have an amazon link for those lights?
Hi Johnson❤
Which material is used
I used a standard poster board!
I wonder if a drill would burn the board too much. Then again, i could just use wood if I'm using a drill...
😍👏🏾👏🏾
Is this styrofoam? If so what are the measurements?
So what Material did she use ?
Not $8.00 worth probably about 50 and up

Dollar tree has foam poster boards. My hobby lobby also has cheaper ones.
I would think maybe $8 per letter
That is a no nonsense glue gun. The end product is so beautiful.
Ikr?! It’s perfect for crafting though, I love it!! And thank you so much 🥰
This looks like a foam board not poster board!
Where did you get the boards from?
