Of all my years of being a braves fan I can't say I seen an offense even close to this years. Even through the days of Jones, Klesco, Chipper, Mcgriff and so on it was never this brutal.

@@isaachancock808 well we had a good team when we had Hank Aaron Eddie Mathews Davey Johnson and I think either Rico carty or Orlando Cepeda. That was a potent offense lost the first NLCS to the Miracle Mets who had Tom Seaver, Jerry koosman and Nolan Ryan on their pitching staff.

Great victory and sweep of the Brew Crew, nothing to complain about here, Ozuna, Olson and Riley are all home run hot right now and I hope that they can carry it over into the Angels series which should be a lot of fun, AJSS didn't pitch a great game but he did well enough to keep his team in the game, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!

Man Acuna is a hitting machine right now...base hits all over the place and an occasional homerun here and there and lets not forget he's a thief in the night with 51 stolen bases this season.

He still would've gotten the win if that ass McHugh would've just done his job! We need to get rid of me him, he sucks.
To be honest I'm a little surprised that AJSS did as well as he did kept us in the game for our offense to do their thing, as for the mistakes you have to remember he's just 20 yrs old, mistakes and growing pains are apart of maturing into a real pitcher just like in life, he has good stuff and actually threw harder than I remembered he did before so he'll develop in time.
As for McHugh he was terrible today true, but he has been used practically every game, he probably could use a rest, GO BRAVES!!!!!!!
McHugh has just been used a lot. He's a long reliever. Needs some rest. AJSS did fine for a 20 year old. Just needs some starts

@@chandlerdavis7664No. He's been great for us consistently this season. His only real down year of his entire career was like 2013. Otherwise he's been solid for just about every team he's played on as a reliever

They're working on it. Can't help the injuries. Several teams have been having injury issues. Tampa, Milwaukee, Atlanta. Thats just the ones I know off the top of my head.
We were number 1 in starter and bullpen era in the national league heading into the all-star break. It's hardly a problem. It is our biggest weakness which is fucking bonkers to say but fried is coming back. A late inning bullpen arm would be sweet tho. Texas is making moves and I don't just wanna stand pat.
Braves got a nice sweep, maybe not the best pitching wise, but the offense was outstanding.

Fantastic to see a game where the lead swings both ways several times.
From the highlights, AJSS looked better than ever. The homer to Santana was a meatball but Yelich put a great swing on a tough pitch. Really hope we keep him around as I think within 1-2 years, he'll at worst be a top end pen arm and more than likely a mid level starter that we have a ton of control over. McHugh looked bad again and the book seems to be out on him with the sweeper not generating any whiffs this season. Joe and Raisel seem to be locking down 2/3 of the last 7-8-9 innings from what I've watched lately which is big. I think McHugh may be a guy that gets the axe potentially as it only costs us $1M to buy out his team option next year. Heller, McHugh/Tonkin, and Hernandez should all go down eventually with Anderson, Lee, and Chavez returning. My guess is McHugh stays up instead of Tonkin as a long guy who can go 2+ innings when everybody is back.
I'm thinking another big level arm for us to pair with Joe, Minter, and Raisel will be all we need in the pen, especially if the hurt guys make it back before October.
