I hope you could one day, it's a great experience for sure but I'd also recommend you take the train ride with panoramic views!! I had such an epic experience during my recent trip in Indonesia and shared it in my channel.
I watched some foreigner vlogs getting on Whoosh thinking that the last station (Tegalluar) is the station to Bandung city center. The thing is, neither Tegalluar nor Padalarang are located in the Bandung city center. However, if you want to go to city center better to get off in Padalarang as it's nearer to the city and they provide free shuttle to Bandung station.

By the way, you should get off at Padalarang station then you can extend your journey to the Bandung City with free feeder train. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Bandung Station. Tegalluar Station actually is quite far from the city center because it's located in Southern Bandung.
Woah, that Jakarta bullet train looks awesome! Especially at that price - $22 for a round trip is a steal. Reminds me of the train ride I took from Yogyakarta to Bandung which I shared in my channel. I enjoyed epic panoramic views during the ride. But that economy class train ride is not bad - looked comfy and there are even snacks on board! Thanks for sharing this!!

The Chiese captains train the local Indonesian drivers to drive this 350 km/h train. In the near future, after Indonesia has had enough trained local train drivers, the drivers will be all Indonesians. And yea, training people to drive a train that runs at 350 km/h will take time.
Correction madam... I assumed you turn in Tegal Luar station instead of Padalarang while your destination is Central Bandung Capital. Next chance, If you wanna to Bandung City you must turn in Padalarang and the Feeder Train there will delivered you To Bandung Station at a free charge because it's included the ticket price
