I'm also in my 2nd year of nursing school and i'm so sad because i've never been exposed to a clinical setting and we only hold our duties vitrually for the rest of the semester. I genuinely want to see more of you sharing your nursing journey because it inspires me and just gives me motivation to continue nursing school despite all the unfortunate circumstances. you really give me hope and i wish i could also apply my nursing skill and knowledge in the actual clinical setting. i love you loren and i enjoy watching your vlogs!! 🤍🥰

Can you tell us more about nursing school in the US? I know how medical school goes, and it’s different where I live, but I don’t hear much about nursing school. In Jordan it’s a 4 year bachelor degree!

Omg this took me back to nursing school. I loved this vlog Loren!!! I definately agree that first semester was rough cuz nursing school is quite a different experience and fundamentals was a pain. But i must say it does get easier when you have good friends who are your study partner. Working smart and effective time management was the key for me. Good luck!!!

Nursing in actual practice is care plan after care plan.. adjusting goals as the patient progresses or decompensates. Good ones equal good patient outcomes.

Aww good luck with your studies ladies! This is just giving me nostalgia/ slight PTSD to my college days and those freaking study rooms! haha why do they all look the same? The giant whiteboard, low lighting, and chunky basic furniture? Definitely don't get yourself down about failing an exam. Just move forward and you'll keep improving inshallah!

your vernacular is so interesting to me. I'm from the northeast and never heard someone say "I made a 72" when talking about a test grade. I always hear like "I got a 72" or "I scored a 72." I wonder if its a Texas/southern thing?!
I’m from Australia and that sentence made perfect sense to me and is something most ppl here would understand so def not a southern north-American thing only. The word “made” in that sentence means the same thing as if you said the sentence “I made it” meaning to accomplish something. Hope that makes sense :)
