Unlike some other sites, you actually respected us enough as fans to tell us the ACTUAL final matches here, not just as far as you were willing to go back and research. And by doing so, you also showed tremendous respect for these wrestlers' memories. Thank you for that. By the way, Eddie Guerrero's final match is available in its entirety on the WWE DVD "Viva la Raza."
I still want to cry seeing some of my favorite guys and gals who went to the big ring in the sky may we see them in the next life not to soon but when we get there
This _is_ WrestlingBios we're talking about. He has respect in spades that's are bigger than HHH's Shovels. I'd expect nothing less and we don't deserve this dude 👌
This definitely deserves a part two at some point. It’s a great tribute to those wrestlers that passed. Test, Viscera, Kanyon, Pillman…should get covered also.
Mike Awesome was one of the most under-utilised agile big man wrestlers ever in the west. He could do it all, clear the top rope with a plancha, quick, powerful, had a great look. Him and Masato absolutely stole the show at ONS 05, which is pretty incredible considering the level of matches. RIP big man, gone but never forgotten, thanks for the great ECW/FMW memories.
Brother, I feel the same. I posted about Awesome too. His matches with Tanaka rocked. Despite his size and physique, Awesome always struck me as a guy you could have a beer with. RIP.
Mike awesome was truly awesome. His one night stand match with Tanaka is my Favourite match. Not just cause it was awesome, the story of mike proving wwe,,wcw and ECW fans wrong was a fitting last big match
This was ...to say very hard to watch without crying. I grew up watching so many of these great athletes and now at 50 yrs old, see them with much more love and respect than I did as a kid. Thank you Wrestling Bios for giving us one final chance to pay respect to those wrestlers who put it all on the line every night just so that we could be entertained. Your love and admiration for the sport of professional wrestling is second to none...Thank You very much and please make more videos like this in remembrance of the fallen who may have been forgotten. they deserve one more night in the spotlight.
I'm glad you included Rick Rude. He was my favorite wrestler by a mile. I even dedicate my whole twitch channel to the ravishing one. I feel like it's important to keep talking about these guys and keep their memory alive.
I grew up in Minnesota and often seen these guys in person and I'm sad to hear so many of my local heroes passed so young. It's the fate of the business sadly. RIP💜
Brodie's time in AEW was so sad. His debut was intended to happen in his hometown, and it ended up being the first week of COVID restrictions. He basically had to work to get his completely different personality over in the most difficult environment possible.
But the fact that he left such an impact is such a positive mark for his talent. TBH it took me a while to see him as a legitimate threat. He was also leading a good troop. His match with Moxley made him look like a threat. Then he pinned Hangman in a tag, squashed Cody, and put on two pretty good defenses against Dustin Rhodes, and Orange Cassidy. He looked like a real threat. I can only imagine what he would have done after his title loss, especially in front of a crowd.
One thing I loved about BTE at that time was how great Brodie was in that role. It was a little more comical but those Dark Order segments are some of my favorites.
Please do a Part 2 to this! This was an excellent tribute to those listed, even if their final matches weren't the greatest. So many of them died so young, it's painful. Also, apropos of nothing, saw a chinlock referred to as a "Bulldog chinlock" on AEW recently, and I'll bet money that was influenced by you singing the praises of his favorite move.
Owen Hart's death especially sickens me because of how completely senseless and avoidable it was and still haunts me to this day in a way that others don't quite match. But also sad to be reminded how many others lost their lives at such a young age. Rip to all our heroes
As sad as It is for the other guys Owens death was not his own fault... If he took any geat It wasent much and I feel like he wouldve lived a long life otherwise.... His brother would be much happier also If at least one of his brothers and In-laws made It from his WWF career he will have other people to hate Vince and Shawn with. RIP to all these guys and girl.
In my little opinion, Vince so much disrespect to Owens family and the wrestlers that had to wrestle on the same mat Owen had died on, once again Vince put the almighty dollar before his wrestlers, I was watching the ppv when Owen died, when Jim Ross announced he had died and the next match was going to start, I changed the channel
I’m the youngest of my siblings but I can’t imagine what it would’ve felt like to lose my brother in such a terrible, senseless way. He deserved better :(
Excellent video! Please do a part two, I was really hoping to see you talk about Andrew Martin or Sensational Sherri. Even some of the older wrestlers like Bruno Sammartino would be really cool to cover in this format.
Thank you so much for uploading this. It makes me way sad to realize, that all these legends I love so much, passed away much too soon. May they all rest in peace.
It's sad knowing most of the guys and girls you grew up watching from a young age are now gone. It kind of seems like they are members of our family they were such a big part of our lives growing up.
A video done with a whole lot of class, thank you for making this. So sad to see how many performers who died prematurely solely for our entertainment.
Great to see some love for Mike Awesome. His rivalry with Tanaka was some of my favorite wrestling in the 90s. He's severely underrated. It blows my mind that a good looking guy with a killer physique and noteworthy career would take his own life. He was living my childhood dream and I always looked for his matches. I wish I knew what his demons were. I always wanted to meet him at a con and share my admiration for the dude.
I've always said the hardest thing about being a wrestling fan is when you start outliving them. Excellent video but it was emotionally hard to watch. Seeing Piper broke me down because he was my childhood hero. A Pt 2 would be cool with names such as Neidhart, Test, Von Erichs, Gino Hernandez, Benoit, Renegade, Pillman, Orndorff, Bruno, Earthquake, Ashley Massaro, Luna Vachon, etc.
Eddie's final match always brings a melancholic smile to my face. After months of the weird heel Eddie that claimed to be the father of Dominic Mysterio that match with Kennedy was his return to the lying, cheating and stealing persona, the final step in his complete face turn brought on by his friendship with Batista. If he had to go, at least he was back to being himself before it happened.
I was really little when Eddie died about 4 years old I think? I didn’t understand what happened and my mom had to explain that when someone dies they go on to a “better place” but that they don’t come back.
This was great! You definitely need to make this a series. It’s nice to know and see these wrestlers last matches. Brings a lot of good memories of them for sure.
Absolutely do a part 2! Benoit Kanyon Pillman Neidhart Test These are just a few that deserve recognition as phenomenal wrestlers! Keep their personal stuff that is opinion based out. As athletes only should be remembered
So many of these deaths of legends I grew up watching while no longer here are stars and superstars I certainly will never forget. Owen’s death, Eddie’s death hit the hardest for me just because of how many people they touched and what they meant to me as a wrestling fan. Brodie hit hard because I was a fan when he was Luke Harper in the Wyatt family. I said he had potential to do so much more and had a classic match with Cody in AEW to then suddenly pass was shocking to me.
Not gonna lie, I almost teared up when I saw Brodie on here. His death still hits with hard with me as myself and others never expected it to happen. To this day, I've never felt so emotionally drained when someone passed in the business since Eddie Guerrero's death in 2005.
Hell yea I mean he was on the verge of a huge career resurgence and it was cut way too short. When I got the notification on my phone I actually dropped my phone and started to tear up. When I got my bearings and went to see if it was true I lost it again when I saw it was 100% true. Like you not since Eddie have I felt such heartbreak smh😢.
Yeah Eddie hit me pretty hard as well, I had just seen him main event a house show. He got on the Mic and talked about his struggles and how great it felt to be back in the ring.
Yet another awesome video. This is a topic that I've often wondered about, but never followed up by doing research. You handled it in the respectful manner I expected too. Thank you for so much great content!
Eddies death Owens death and Brian pillmans deaths still hurt me to this day because I was big fans of those guys and I was shocked to see those three be no longer with us.
Wrestling is therapy. AEW was where I found myself to get me through some of the darker/bored times of the pandemic - I never knew much about Brodie (Harper) from his WWE days. As I grew older through my 20's and 30's, it felt like I was outgrowing current wrestling. I downloaded a few episodes of AEW after catching some familar old favourite names on a UA-cam video one day and was introduced to 'Brodie Lee'. I'm still months behind the AEW schedule as when Brodie died, it rocked me hard. After his tribute show and the retiring of the belt to his son, I just couldn't bring myself to carry on watching. I felt like I has lost somebody close. Somebody who had personally helped me through my own little hell. His short time in AEW was one of the best character runs I've seen in my 30+ years of watching wrestling, he got over so fast and the comedy elements with the Dark Order boys was just fantastic - not to mention the matches and his fantastic fight with Cody. Even without a crowd pop this man managed to make a fan out of so many. A natural entertainer and from what has been said of him, a truly, truly wonderful man. RIP Brodie.
Truly a list of legends. Some of the very best, and bigger than life personalities. I really loved this, even though I cried. But I felt like this was a good tribute. Thank you!
As a wrestler myself I want to say thank you for all the time and energy you give into all these vids. The love and respect you have for the business is admirable. Thank you 🙏🏾
I've just realised that I'm older than Yokozuna was when he died. He was the big heel when I was a child. I was gutted when he beat Hulk Hogan at KOTR 93. Always respected what he could do in the ring. He was believable as an intimidating, powerful wrestler and a massive threat to the babyfaces. In one year as the top heel, he worked with Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Lex Luger and the Undertaker. That's a great career right there. Such a shame he couldn't remain healthy.
WOW. I had no idea Chyna had a match that recently! I could have sworn she stopped completely after leaving the WWF/WE. What a great video to learn about their final matches, thank you for making this. Edit: The music you put in this as well..the low theme playing when you show Randy Savage, it's just beautiful.
My mom named me after Andre th Giant. I've always loved him and it's always so difficult to see his final appearances even in that clip you showed you can see him struggling to breathe. He was great as were all those we lost in this spectacle we love. Thanks for the video great job as always
Watching this video made me tear up, seeing as I grew up watching all of these guys. Great video as always and Rest in Peace to all the deceased greats of the Ring.
I can understand that, I’ve been here since Day 1…even before Reliving the War started and even before he stared adding all the humor. His videos are the only ones on UA-cam I look forward too every week. So it will be odd not seeing them this Thursday or next Thursday.
I would absolutely love to see you create another few videos on this topic bro. Keep up the great working pumping out the content man! I love all the stuff you put together.. RTW is something I look forward to every week lol
I really appreciate the work you do on your videos. You did great work here honoring their legacies and also not sugarcoating how they passed on. I would like to see the next part of this as well.
Pt. 2 please! Way to handle a difficult topic with respect and dignity. Awesome work as always! Suggestion for next video that I think people overlook would be Crash Holly.
As a huge Davey Boy Smith fan growing up, im so pleased that Davey got to wrestle with his son - must have been a dream come true as a parent. Too young. Such a cast of superstars here, really is so sad and RIP to all of these great contributors.
Definitely cried, I wish these types of videos were impossible to make. BUT, I appreciate what each & every pro wrestler dead or alive has done to make us fans believe in real life super heroes & villains. This was a very dignified presentation of a hard topic.
Great and very sobering video. Very chilling part about Mike Awesome's last match was definitely the match commentary. At some point, Awesome does a dive to the outside and while still playing the whole 'betraying ECW' angle, Joey Styles said that it's a shame Mike didn't kill himself after that suicide dive.....Yeah. Enough said. If there is a part 2, I'm nervous in recommending Mitsuharu Misawa, but can understand if not to due to the circumstances (he died taking a bump during a match. As far as I know, no footage of the match exists, but there are photos during and after)
Grew up watching all of these great Legends!. it´s sad that they are all gone know. But even if they are all gone , it´s like they are still there and it´s much thanks to you wrestling bios when you make this great videos for all off us to enjoy ,Thank you for given memories from are childhode back. greetings from sweden.
Would love to see a part 2… very sad but awesome video of all these legends..😢💪🏻. Keep up the great work as always…. Would love to see Chris Kanyon, Doink Matt Bourne, and Brian Pillman in the next video just to name a few
I really loved that you did something different with this one, I think more of these would be a great, if not slightly depressing, idea. Thanks again for all the content!

Love the reliving the wars videos and all of the wrestling bios video 👍 .
this was the one i wanted to see most from twitter!
You had a typo by the warrior part not 2004 it was 2014 hih HOF induction and sudden death
Brilliant video, if you ever decide to do a second one, id like to see covered, if possible.
Big Bossman, Test, The Earthquake and Hercules
Great and very sobering video.
Very chilling part about Mike Awesome's last match was definitely the match commentary. At some point, Awesome does a dive to the outside and while still playing the whole 'betraying ECW' angle, Joey Styles said that it's a shame Mike didn't kill himself after that suicide dive.....Yeah. Enough said.
If there is a part 2, I'm nervous in recommending Mitsuharu Misawa, but can understand if not to due to the circumstances (he died taking a bump during a match. As far as I know, no footage of the match exists, but there are photos during and after)
That was disrespectful of joey styles to say that I hope that the guit eats joe up but I can understand why he left
Great video. Could you do a part 2 of final matches of deceased wrestlers?
Thank you so much for making this. Seeing this makes me sad to know just how much we've lost over the years, the knowledge and the talent.
I wasn't sure I would enjoy this video but it was well done. With respect too. Definitely do a second part.
I really loved that you did something different with this one, I think more of these would be a great, if not slightly depressing, idea. Thanks again for all the content!
A perfect video. I may have teared up watching it (Owen set me off) but I would welcome a part two.
And I wanna see a part 2. Thank you for another great video and content
So many young deaths. Very tragic. Thank you for the respectful video.
